Don't see elected personnel or Mayor's staff. Not complete in my mind.

Mayor's Staff seems to be there; but most of those that are paid what would be considered a stipend (city council, clerk of committees, paid boards and commissions, etc.) are not. The exception is the retirement board (who knew the head of that made 80K+?) where you can see that the COS picks up a few more bucks.

So I'd agree that it is either somewhat incomplete or just a different interpretation of what was being requested. The data that was given is sometimes somewhat confusing too.

I a happy for this release of information for two reasons:

1. The City had to provide info that they had to release by law. It may have taken six months but it happened as it should have.

2. It let's people know that they have every right to question and receive info on pretty much all city business.

If people have a question on what is happening in Everett, dont' assume or listen to lip service. Ask for it. It's your right.

Hopefully some mayoral debates will be scheduled. If not agreed to by the current administration, I would vote for anyone else.

We deserve nothing less. We work hard for our money and our politicians should too.

Any chance some connected people got waivers or abatements on their tax or water bills?

Make a donation to muckrock.com and you can do so anonymously and you too can share the info.

This information was published in the Everett Independent on March 27, 2013. The School Superintendent was on the top of the list. Go online and view the archives. Would have saved you a lot of time and aggravation.

Is there any explanation for the variance in what is labelled as salary and YTD Gross earnings? If you sort by largest to smallest salaries you will note a variance between salary and gross earnings. Since they aren't under the overtime category was wondering how this money is earned. Is it some sort of stipend?
Thanks

What a disgrace that list is. Besides the needed Police and Fire jobs and Teachers if they are included on that list(and trust me those jobs are just as political as the rest) soem of the rest I guarantee you MILLIONS could be cut from that list and nothing would be any different! A who's who of friends and family of politicians past and present. Some of the names on that list need those jobs as bad as Bill Gates might. Hackorama at its finest yet people who REALLY need those jobs and actually would do the work get nothing.

It all about who you know. Nothing more nothing less and its a dam shame because it will never change. Wait till the Casino goes up, imagine the money around too play with then! That list may double in size in the next five years.

There won't be "money around to play with". The additional money from the casino will (hopefully) be enough to cover the additional resources the casino will need.

Someone (not me, BTW) posted a good question in another thread which I don't think got enough notice.

What effect would the addition of the casino to the tax rolls have on the amount of state aid that the city receives for the schools?

And if any, how much of the money that the city receives from the casino will have to go directly to the schools just to make up that difference?

And it would have to be made up since the state sets the minimum that has to given to the schools and the city only currently funds the schools at that bare minimum.
