The grandstanding Deval Patrick claims: "If there is fault to be found, we will find it and we will hold those responsible accountable," (Patrick) said Tuesday just hours after lifting the boil order. "

What hogwash!
The Big Dig has guardrails and ceiling tiles that have actually killed people, but not a single Big Dig contractor nor Mass Turnpike Authority design hack has ever been called to account or held liable.

Vote him out in November and be done with it.

Did you bother to read to the end of the article?
Modern Continental declared bankruptcy and so won't be paying a dime.
Meantime, not a single Mass Turnpike hack who approved the design of either the heavy ceiling panels or the guardrails has been held accountable let alone named.

Don't confuse liberals with facts, you'll just be slandered, as that is the best they can do.

You stated that:The Big Dig has guardrails and ceiling tiles that have actually killed people, but not a single Big Dig contractor nor Mass Turnpike Authority design hack has ever been called to account or held liable.

Your statement was not entirely accurate, was it? And if you bothered to look at more than one link, you would have seen that more than one entity was held accountable for the problems with the Big Dig. If you look at the second link, it even says that the Turnpike Authority and six other entities settled with the family of the woman who was killed in the tunnel ceiling collapse.

Who is the one who didn't bother to read?

How's that chief? Heller claimed that no entity involved with the Big Dig was held accountable for design flaws resulting in death. That has been factually demonstrated to be a false statement. Which facts do you think support Heller's position?

If you are claiming that individuals were held accountable then please state the names of the state officials in Mass Turnpike Authority who signed off on the faulty designs and who signed off on the faulty work?
Did those state officials retain their jobs, salaries, and perks?
Were they prosecuted for criminal negligence?
Also, other than cash paid out by the firms that did the actual work (the firms that actually paid out), were any individuals in those firms criminally prosecuted for criminal negligence for the faulty work that led to people being killed?

Prove that there was criminal intent. They were simply dumb arses, not a criminal like you.

I am claiming simply that you misrepresented the facts when you wrote that "a single Big Dig contractor nor Mass Turnpike Authority design hack has ever been called to account or held liable." That is not true. The corporations have been held criminally liable and civil suits have been filed.

If you are saying that some individuals be held responsible for the design flaws and for sneaking in substandard materials, I would tend to agree with you. But you were saying that there has been no accountability and that is not true.
