Excellent article. As an African American living in Maryland, I recently purchased a home in Wilson. I found the article very insightful. I certainly don't think this problem is unique to Wilson. In Maryland we do have many racially diverse Churches but for the most part, Sunday still remains the most segregated day of the week.
I'm excited to read about New Beginnings Community Church. When I arrive in Wilson, I too will be seeking a new Church home. Rev. Campbell can certainly expect a visit from me once my relocation is complete. |

You might want to try and have some racial pride and worship in your church!!! You are what you are, learn that and you will be accepted better.
Nobody likes a race jumper, stuffed with religion! |

James Brown represents the typical Negro church! Whooping, hollering, turning backward flips in the air, and much more! I've gone to Korean churches, and they act very much like we do. But with Negroes...... Anything can happen! |

I attend New Beginnings Church (NBCC). I feel
it is a cross section of what heaven will be. Black and white brothers and sisters worshiping the Lord side by side. |
