Who was the rapist in the April 2012 rape, and why were they not indicted?
It does seem kind of odd that two adults have been charged regarding the April rape, but no charges have been filed against the actual rapist(s).

It is because there was no rape in April. A girl had consensual sex. These indictments are not failure to report a crime, they are for failure to report child abuse or neglect. A girl under the age of 16 having consensual sex in ohio is considered child abuse. Any adult who knows a child under the age of 16 who is having sex is guilty of the same...failure to report sexual abuse. So as it stands ... I'm sure we are guilty.

She was drugged, it was not consensual.

What evidence do you have to support that claim? She was not drugged.

If it were just two teenagers having an encounter there would not be such a huge movement to cover it up. I mean look at all the people indicted so far, why would they risk their jobs and reputation just to protect a single football player?

How do you know that the April victim wasn't drugged, or that it was consensual? Were you there? Or are you just taking the players' words for what happened? Did you read the tweets from the night in question? Are you still going to deny that anything took place that night with tweets such as "First degree rape" and "I would never even want to run train on a girl! Sick fucks LMFAO". Let's not forget also, that the 14-year-old was under the age of consent, had been drinking, and had been harassed online after the incident for being a "slut", even though the tweets clearly indicate the boys knew they were committing rape.

"The Law Says" is a typical enabler & apologist. No wonder female victims hesitate to come forward. Thank you again, Jane Doe, for paving the way for other rape victims like the April victim, Daisy Coleman & Paige Parkhurst, so that they can report a CRIME in spite of people like the Steubenville "elite" who try to instill fear or shame in the victims to prevent them from testifying.

The only way we can fight crimes like rape is to take away the stigma. Victims should not be shamed; the perpetrators are the only ones who should be ashamed for their actions. Thanks again to brave people like the Steubenville & Marysville victims, to Alexandria Goddard, to Eve Vawter, to the members of Anonymous, and everyone else who fights injustices when the people who are supposed to be doing their job fail to come forward and support the victims.

I would think the Michael N dead girl video hints at the fact it was rape considering he referred to it as such..

You really have no clue what happened princess. It was just another drunk tramp throwing herself at athletes. This happens all the time.

And that legitimatizes what ever happens? You're a miserable piece of shit, buddy boy. What a sorry assed attitude concerning sorry assed treatment of a drunk little girl and related cover-up. The dregs of society must have congregated in Steubenville.

Look, let's face reality here. Girl drinks and acts like a tramp, throwing herself at athletic boys. Girl has sex with several of the boys that night, at the same time even.
Would your mom or sister do that? Maybe is she is a tramp with no morals whatsoever.
Take your sick schoolgirl orgy fantasies somewhere else, Steubenville Perv. Nobody other than you or the sicko athletes that you helped to mold would believe any of the garbage you spout. Even their tweets indicate it was rape. Talk about denial!

Now you can go cry some more about how the big game was lost because of the nasty old media reporting on your town's adult school supervisors covering up rapes. Poor you.

I've followed this case from the beginning. At one time many people were talking about the April incident. The mother was even suppose to do an interview with Bloomdaddy. Suffice it to say, the allegations I remember made were similar circumstances to the August rape of Jane Doe. I've never heard of a younger girl consenting to having older boys one after another take advantage of her. I think you're deluding yourself.

I've taken the time to transcript the "Nodi" video, enter the PC testimony, and transcript interviews with various individuals connected in any way to this case. I've entered all this information into my computer so I can cross-reference different details that have been given at different points in time. Suffice it to say, in my opinion lies have been told. Obvious lies and the closest we'll get to the truth are the words spoken on the video, the early texts, and Twitter postings. You may not agree, which is OK, but I feel the victim from April was raped as well. It was proven in a court of law that Jane Doe was raped while these other boys watched, laughed, and took photos and/or video. If it wasn't rape in April why the online social media hatred toward this young girl? The online social media hatred faced by August's victim closely mirrored that of the April victim. It is also my opinion that the horror faced by August's victim far exceeded that which was discussed in court but for whatever reason it wasn't brought up. There is a big difference between being found innocent of a crime and a prosecutor choosing not to prosecute a crime. In that case, it doesn't mean innocence has been proven.
Trent Mays received a text from a girl, F. M., which stated that she saw a picture depicting sodomy(These are my words, I'm paraphrasing and don't choose to use the nasty vile words used by these teens). If you'd like to read the texts for yourself, go to Don Carpenter's blog, he covered this case extensively. With what happened in August, I strongly feel April's victim was more than likely raped. She probably did throw herself at ONE athlete but because she liked one doesn't mean all of them can do as they please. These teens and young adults don't need anyone else defending their actions, they need to get help. There's something wrong morally when a person can stand by a watch something like this happen and find it funny. A young unconscious girl being taken advantage of is not funny in any context. In my opinion, there's something seriously wrong upstairs with someone who does think so. I don't want to hear the excuse they were drunk, you know they weren't drunk the next day and they still found it funny.

Curious, any chance you would share the transcript? I have been contemplating creating one myself, but if you have already done it... Thanks!
