Why else would a non-gay male be interested in working in a dance studio unless it was to score some sweet teenage tail?

How blind are parents that saw this guy and didn't realize that immediately?

and he is a convicted sexual offender now. i think we can forgive the fact that he was "a great dancer and teacher". how can you be a great teacher if you abuse that relationship that is suppose to be sacred between teacher and student?

Amen!

To bad they let him plead out of a much longer sentence. At least we will be a registered sex offender forever.

He chose to take a plea and sentence of 6 1/2 years because he knew he would be convicted. No one that is truly innocent would choose a prison sentence, probation and sexual offender status without putting up a fight. We DO know the real truth. It is in black and white. He is now and will be for the rest of his life a sexual offender. Deal with it. If you miss him you can find him at the Florida Department of Corrections.

He's about to be a little dancer for someone else in jail. Glad he got what he deserved and pled guilty. The people on this blog that are standing up for him are obviously perfect examples of how victims become just that...victims. HE PLED GUILTY, get over it.

My daughter (who was 5 at the time) went to his school. Glad he's being put away, and very thankful my daughter was too young for his taste. Prayers and condolences to those parents who's daughters where the victims to this pig's actions.

That said, I think your incendiary comment is really out of line. Everyone looks like a criminal in their lineup picture and under a headline like that, but before knowing that, and looking at his works, the guy did know what he was doing from a performance perspective. The shows he put on were more professional than anything my daughter's been in since (or was in before).

Obviously knowing the type of person he is now, I hope he rots in hell (after being some rather large inmate's play toy for a while).

He raped girls. How do people defend this guy? He drugged girls and had sex with them. That's rape. Seven girls said they were drugged by him and coerced into sex. That's rape.

Now that I have the basic understanding, go back to defending him, you Internet newspaper article comment heroes.

I, for one, am not defending him by any stretch of the imagination. I just hate when people throw the "hindsight" goggles on with a, "well look at him, it's 'obvious' he drugs and rapes girls".

When we looked for a dance studio for our daughter, he had the best stage performances and resume so we selected his school.

When we noticed that the ballet aspect was slipping and more and more hip hop was taking focus, we pulled our daughter out to another school and shortly after that, the "fit started hitting the shan".

The guy's a pig and I hope he gets what he rightly deserves in prison.

"6 1/2 years in prison and four years of sex offender probation"
FOR "took his students to hotel rooms or another instructor's apartment and gave them what he said were "truth pills." After they took the drugs, he told them the pills were ecstasy and coerced them into having sex while they were under the influence"

ARE YOU KIDDING ME!! I am outraged!

George Fagan put in a plea of "Nolo contendere". This information regarding the plea came from wikepedia and it reads:

Nolo contendere is a legal term that comes from the Latin for "I will not contend it." It is also referred to as a plea of "No Contest."
In criminal trials, and in some common law jurisdictions, it is a plea where the defendant neither admits nor disputes a charge, serving as an alternative to a pleading of guilty or not guilty.
A no contest plea, while not technically a guilty plea, has the same immediate effect as a guilty plea, and is often offered as a part of a plea bargain.[1]

INTERPRETATION: HE PLEAD GUILTY WITHOUT OUT SAYING IT.

25 years verses 6.5 years....if I was guilty too, I would go for the lesser of two evils.

He will always be a sex offender and we will have the pleasure of getting the notification of this when he is sentenced and arrested, his pretty little mug shot will come complete with all the information. For the rest of his life this will be with him, when he moves, he has to register there and usually when a Sex Offender moves into a neighborhood, the police department notifies the surrounding neighbors. This is music to my ears.
