You ma'am, are the ignorant one! Your "friend" screwed over several people, good people who worked hard to earn enough money to purchase a pool. A lot of people dream of owning a pool home.

If indeed his "sales person" is responsible, I am sure that he can take up issue with him, and somehow find a way to help these folks who have half done pools.

Just like the cleaners in the story, not owning up to the $450.00 in damages probably cost them triple that in business!

How does that make sense!?

Maybe if your friend "attempted" to make things right, the people might even help him come up with a plan.

But truthfully it sounds like he is in way over his head, and it was probably his problem, not the sales person if he is not man enough to figure out a better option!

And before you say there are none, that is BULL, he could take out a loan, and hire a competitor to complete the work for the people, but no... why not just claim bankruptcy and call it quits.

Who knows where the high road might have him!

I wish I knew what sort of business you run, because I would make sure I never patronize there!!! Defending this person!!! It's obviously so bad, that enough people have complained that it made the paper!

As it happens I am a competitor and have been working with him to help his customers OH did I forget to mention a colleague used him and now has no warranty, read my lines before you spout off. I am not defending him in anyway, but what about the consumer? Have they never heard of background checks on a business? Such as the DBPR, BBB, FSPA???? God I love getting your gander up!!!! Chill out crusader, ya can't save the world ya know??

Well that clearly shows me where this country is headed. Now consumers are being told to do background checks on businesses before hiring them by a business person. Clearly unscrupulous. How about just being honest? How about just doing the job you were paid to do, and if you can't, being honest and refunding their money?

Not all companies are rip offs and as a consumer I do check the BBB and other avenues before signing a contract. If you don't shame on you AND AT's customers! AFTER the contract was signed and the hand shook, Adam Coyman and his sales manager James Callen dropped their masks and returned to their ignorant, red-neck, arrogant ways. SIMPLY THE WORST CONTRACTOR WE'VE EVER HAD ON OUR PROPERTY. If anyone deserved to go out of business, it was COYMAN. He may personally know how to build a pool (i doubt it though as ours has multiple construction errors we're having to live with) but that doesn't mean he had the intelligence to run a compnay bigger than himself. A great example of someone believing their own press.
