I know people who have delt with them, have been there and they all know what was going on. Some of the employees there would give out a doctors name, to contact, so that you could get steriods. I'm serious.

the signiture pharmacy its owners and it's staff have been filling prescriptions for my patients for years. they have always provided superior service top quality compounded medications. my knowlege of the pharmacy and it's owners is that they make every effort to always operate within the full letter of the law , and all professional regulations. i have always found themto be highly ethical responsible and foremost concern about quality patient care .

There was a time in which Enron seemed "highly ethical" also. And just as a side note, for someone who is a doctor you might want to review the old grammar book before posting future comments.

Mr. Soares said that the investigation had unearthed dozens of other potential suspects, but whether they would be prosecuted will depend entirely on those people and their desire to come forward and assist the people in eradicating this problem from our state and from the rest of the United States.

Something of value extorted in this manner.

Is your personal liberty "something else of value"??

I don't understand why they are making this such a big deal, when Signature has done nothing wrong, they would rather harass innocent people, than worry about the the major Heroin & Crack & other drug problems and selling, and people smuggling drugs and weapons into the U.S.
Honestly, i think that is a little more important.
Signature Pharmacy is just like CVS pharmacy, they receive prescriptions from a doctor and they fill it. Last time i checked, that's perfectly legal.
And if they want to blame anyone, it should be the doctors, if there is a problem with a prescriptions, its the doctors fault, Signature just fills the prescriptions, thats their JOB.
And why waste the governments time & money on something when there is nothing wrong, when we have a major problem with heroin and other drugs & worse problems in the U.S.
And by causing Signature to close or lose business, for no reason, when Signature has patients with Cancer, Dialysis patients, and women in need of Hormone Replacement Therapy, and with Signatures' medicine, almost eliminates women going through menopause from getting breast cancer. So by causing un-necessary accusations and problems, and or closing Signature, those cancer, dialysis, and breast cancer patients will not be able to get the medicine they need to help keep them alive.
So the Government would rather, shut down one of the only Pharmacies and only access to customized medications for sick infants & children & cancer patients, without these Medications, they are killing people, rather than stop the drugs problems, smuggling & crime. Personally, i just don't understand that
That's smart, ruin good peoples lives and take away peoples medication they need to get better, when Signature has done nothing wrong. But thats more important than trying to stop drug dealers and people smuggling weapons into & throughout the country.
That makes sense, Heroin is ok, but preventing breast cancer is wrong.

I have dealt with this pharmacy in the past, and know people who work there. Everyone is fully aware of what was going on. It is true if someone needed steroids or weight loss pills they would give the name a Dr. who would prescribe the medication for a fee without ever examining the patient. It was only a matter of time before this came out...

Signature Pharmacy is not like CVS pharmacy or other pharmacy chains in that Signature compounded generics. For example, Testim, Androgel and Androderm cost $230 per month. Compounded testosterone cream costs lest than $20 per month. The impairment of pharmaceutical company profits makes compounding pharmacies a target.
Taking the recommendation of the pharmacy for a physician who regularly prescribes testosterone or human growth hormone short circuits the search for one.
The secretly recorded tapes may reveal that Signature engaged in a criminal conspiracy with the doctors it recommended in order to practice medicine improperly.
But when is the last time that New York arrested a doctor for cutting off the healthy (wrong) leg or killing a patient by prescribing the wrong drug. Negligent or on purpose such acts are criminal.

Gary,

Well put...

I have a friend who works there and he said they confiscated all their Sildenafil Powder (the active ingredient in Viagra).....

Why would the Albany DA care about Sildenafil??

Yeah, I know insert punchline here _________

I wouldn't doubt if this whole raid got bankrolled by the FDA, to stop the biggest compounder East of the Rockies...

I also heard Soares may have a relative who works @ Pfizer in Connecticut..

This bust is more political than anything...

Funny how the State of New York had these questionable MD's in thei sights then just went after Signature so they could hi them with a RICO indictment and go after the $$$$$$

Just like Pesci said in CASINO....

"It's always about the dollars"....

You're right. This IS more political than anything. People watch television and get all riled-up thinking "we're fighting the war against steroids!". It's a bunch of nonsense. Testosterone should not be an illegal drug. That's ridiculous. Why in the WORLD would testosterone be an illegal drug? It doesn't make you high. It doesn't alter your mind. It doesn't intoxicate you. It burns fat and builds muscle if you exercise.

Oh, Lord! Oh what would we do with a society of muscular, lean human beings?!

Tobacco and Alcohol are far more dangerous - but they're on the market to anyone 21 or older. Steroids should be taken care of exactly the same way. Any man or woman in need of HRT (hormone replacement therapy) should have NO trouble getting a prescription from their doctor.

Most people here have NO IDEA how many illnesses are made a thing of the past due to hormonal imbalance as we age. You're digging your own grave by being so "against" steroids. You're digging an early grave for your children and grandchildren as well. One day, they too will be in need of hormone replacement therapy. But since you sheeple went with the flow, it will not be available to them.

Well. Mabye it will.. Via the underground.. I wish them luck.

Keep on "going with the flow" and watch Vitamin C become a prescription-only product. You think I'm kidding, huh? If you knew of the list of over-the-counter products being consi...

Ya know what? Forget it.

It should be:
Most people here have NO IDEA how many illnesses are caused by hormonal imbalance as we age. Hormone replacement therapy, when done responsibly, cures many health problems. Wanna know how many scientific studies definitively link the use of anabolic steroids to death - or even serious health risks? One? Fifteen? Twenty? Nope… Try ZERO.

Because steroids eat at yor "guns" as you call them and if you don't drink enough water at least 7 or 8 glasses a day it could eat out your leaver so stay off steroids or else.
