With the rising price of higher learning they are just trying to scrape some money together for books.

It's pretty sad that the winter park police have nothing better to do with their time...I mean c'mon, that is not a bust. These guys are harmless and the business they do doesn't harm the general public as far as real crime is concerned. Focus on real crime please...

LoL, it is the worst kept secret that Rollins kids like to partake in recreational drug use. The ski slopes around Rollins College are always open! These kids that got caught are small potatoes. Just let them go.

While these men were engaged in felonies according to the report, my main concern is the personal theft, vandalism of property, and violent crime that is increasing in winter park. The Winter Park police are doing a good job at investigating and making arrests but the city idiots want to cut their funding. now that is a crime.

I am the "general public" and drug dealing DOES affect me. Every wonder why your car gets broken into just to steal a TomTom or iPod ? DRUG MONEY. It's not the typical part time job makes enough money for food & gas...they need the extra cash for DRUGS.
These "small potatoes" will lead police to the larger potatoes.

Yea...let them go so they can see the justice system is a joke. Then they can continue selling drugs....once they have had "easy money" do you honestly think they are going to ever get a REAL JOB ?!?! Heck no, selling drugs is easier and so much more lucrative. They can go from being small time dealers to king pins. Sure, let them go.......

Youa are right school is expensive, very expensive, i just finish a nurse training for just one month and I'm in red numbers. But they are wrong, many ways for have some extra money, no drugs dealer, look now, now they need a lot money for a good lawyer.

End prohibition and take the profit out of selling the stuff. The druggies are going to do their drugs legal or not. At least if drugs were legal and cheap people would not turn to crime to support their habit. And the billions being spent on this never ending war could be used for rehab instead of prisons.

As hard as it is to get into that school, plus the amount of money it cost to stay in that school, why would anyone choose to sell drugs on campus?

"End prohibition and take the profit out of selling the stuff. "

Or why don't we make selling drugs a capital offense, and start hanging these dirt bags...We'll see how profitable it would continue to be.

The interesting thing about your view is that it makes sense-these rich kids sell the drugs to poor kids and adults who are breaking into the cars and stealing to buy the drugs from the rich kids.

Simply review the slimy past of Rollins' thieving directors and one cannot be surprised the students are following in their footsteps.

ALLAN KEEN - Shamed former Xway Authority Director who was caught taking a bribe and paying off a mobster for dirty campaigning against a Mayor who threatened and successfully killed his illegal Carlyle.

TOM PETTERS - In prison for investor fraud and grand larceny.

STEVE WALSH - Dead developer who stole $125 million from his friends.

Get your PhD in lawbreaking from Rollins. According to my kids, the Rollins students are well known for using cocaine and prescription drugs.

Nicole, are you actually as ignorant as you sound? Most people know about Orange County's skyrocketing murder rate. If you do some research, you will find out that the majority of murders committed in Orange County are drug-related. Drugs are the root of almost every crime. This is a fact and I have seen it first hand.

Ignorant by no means. These kids didn't kill anyone. So this goes against your research, Franky.
