Obama: my administration is most pro-gay in history

President Obama greets attendees at a gay pride event at the White House.

.
WASHINGTON, D.C.,– President Barack Obama again vowed his fidelity to the homosexual lobby at a White House reception in honor of LGBT pride month, boasting that his administration has done more than any other president to advance their cause.

“This administration, under my direction has consistently said we cannot discriminate as a country against people on the basis of sexual orientation, and we have done more in the two-and-a-half years I have been in here than the previous 43 presidents to uphold that principle,” said Obama at a news conference June 29, the day of the reception, according to the Christian Post.

Nonetheless, the president performed an awkward tightrope walk for gay rights supporters at the White House, as he praised their efforts, while coyly acknowledging their frustration with his public stance against federal imposition of same-sex “marriage.”

“There are going to be times where you’re still frustrated with me. I know there are going to be times where you’re still frustrated at the pace of change. I understand that. I know I can count on you to let me know,” said Obama to laughter and cheers from the raucous crowd.

Earlier in his remarks, Obama lauded “folks who are standing up against discrimination, and for the rights of parents and children and partners and students,” to which he added “and spouses” at the prompting of the audience. The president faced a similar reaction at an LGBT fundraiser in Manhattan days earlier, where the crowd chanted “marriage” at him in playful protest.

The president pointed to his accomplishments so far, including eradicating the military ban on open homosexuals serving and refusing to defend the federal Defense of Marriage Act, as a reminder of his “commitment” to their cause, which he compared to the cause of the Civil Rights movement of the 1960s.

“It was here, in the East Room, at our first Pride reception, on the 40th anniversary of the Stonewall riots, a few months after I took office, that I made a pledge, I made a commitment. I said that I would never counsel patience; it wasn’t right for me to tell you to be patient any more than it was right for folks to tell African Americans to be patient in terms of their freedoms,” said the president.“I said it might take time to get everything we wanted done. But I also expected to be judged not by the promises I made, but the promises I kept.”

Washington gay ‘marriage’ law stopped after opponents gather 240,000 signatures

.

Comments ()
WASHINGTON, June 8, 2012 — Washington State’s new gay “marriage” law has been halted one day before it was set to come into effect, after Preserve Marriage Washington (PMW) collected and filed over 240,000 signatures opposing the redefinition of marriage.

The “marriage” law, signed by Governor Chris Gregoire, would have made Washington the seventh state to legalize gay “marriages.”

Brian Brown, president of National Organization for Marriage, commended PMW, stating that the successful signature campaign demonstrates the “deep support that traditional marriage enjoys” and “sets the stage for a tremendous victory for marriage this November.”

“The signature gathering effort produced more signatures than have ever been collected by any referendum committee in the history of the state,” Brown declared.

The submitted signatures will be reviewed over the next week, to determine if they are sufficient to qualify to put a referendum to protect true marriage on the November ballot. The number of signatures submitted, however, is over twice the amount necessary to qualify for a public vote.

“We are… confident of victory,” Brown declared.“Thirty-two states in America have voted on marriage and every one has stood for traditional marriage, and rejected redefining marriage. We have no doubt that Washington State will do the same.”

The issue has further political repercussions, with President Barrack Obama now being a public supporter of same-sex “marriage,” and R-74 – the marriage referendum measure - having divided Washington state’s two candidates for governor.

Three other states – Maine, Minnesota and Maryland – are all set to have public referenda on the marriage issue this November.

Obama admin website: infants and children are ‘sexual beings’

.

Tags: planned parenthood

WARNING: disturbing content.

WASHINGTON, D.C.- Borrowing Planned Parenthood’s talking points almost verbatim, the Obama administration is now encouraging parents to begin thinking about their children, and even babies, as “sexual beings” who should be allowed to sexually stimulate themselves from infancy.

“Children are human beings and therefore sexual beings,” says a Q&A about sex directly linked to by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).“It’s hard for parents to acknowledge this, just as it’s hard for kids to think of their parents as sexually active. But even infants have curiosity about their own bodies, which is healthy and normal.”

The page was reported by NewsBusters before it was picked up by Fox News on Tuesday.

The talking points on the page closely reflect the counseling on a parenting page by Planned Parenthood, the nation’s top contraception and sex education lobby, where readers are told they “need to give babies a sense of themselves, their sexuality, and their bodies from birth.”

Both pages teach that infant masturbation is already sexual in nature, and thus stopping it could cause the child sexual “shame” later in life. Instead, parents are told to encourage children to keep masturbating in private.

“It is natural for children to be interested in their own bodies. Some parents may choose to casually ignore self-touching. Others may want to acknowledge that, while they know it feels good, it is a private matter,” states the Obama administration’s popup link.

The theory that infants experience sexual pleasure stems from the research of Alfred Kinsey, a seminal researcher of the 1940s and 50s who sexually molested babies as young as five months old to collect data on children’s “orgasms.”
Infamous sexologist Alfred Kinsey

Although immensely influential in modern sexual theory, the truth about the nature of Kinsey’s research has been shut out of media attention for decades.

One chart from Kinsey’s files, found in his 1948 report “Sexual Behavior in the Human Male,” lists the number and duration of sexual stimulations of boys aged between 14 years and five months, including a four-year-old with 26 “orgasms” in a 24-hour time period.

Judith Reisman, PhD., an internationally-renowned expert on the 20th-century foundations of the sexual revolution, says Kinsey and his researchers defined “orgasms” as children convulsing, crying, hitting the molester, and expressing hysterical fear.

In a recent article, Reisman points to an August conference of mental health professionals seeking to normalize pedophilia as another symptom of Kinsey’s influence.

“In large measure, Dr. Kinsey’s mission has been accomplished, mostly posthumously, by his legion of true believers – elitists who have systematically brainwashed their fellow intellectual elites to adopt Kinsey’s pan-sexual secular worldview and jettison the Judeo Christian worldview upon which this country was founded and flourished,” wrote Reisman..

That's your opinion that their 'chief reason for existence is abortion', educate yourself: http://www.plannedparenthood.org/

Also educate yourself on the world's military budgets, no one is even in the same ballpark when it comes to military spending, not even on the same planet:

11-yr-old pro-life girl brought to tears by pro-abortion activists outside DNC Convention
Tue Sep 04, 2012 05:38 EST
Comments ()Tags: abortion, democratic national convention
.
Zoe Griffin -September 4, 2012 - I want you to meet my friend and fellow abortion abolitionist, 11-year-old Zoe Griffin. In a world when grown adults ignore, deny or just don’t care about the abortion holocaust that has claimed over 55 million of Zoe’s generation, she is willing to take a stand no matter what people think. Zoe joined her mother and friends to lay thousands of roses outside the site of the Democratic convention and pray for the babies, the politicians and this generation.
While Zoe was praying, pro-abortion activists who claim to stand up for women began to belittle and scream at Zoe for her stand for life. What is so sad is that one of the women who did this to Zoe, Sunsara Taylor, is a well know anti-porn activist who claims to be against the degradation of women. I guess just not 11-year-olds who believe that women should not be dehumanized by the abortion industry.
I could write a lot about this and how much I am sickened by what happened, but I wanted to let Zoe tell you in her own words how what happened and why she will never quit being a Stand True Activist. Praise God for young women like Zoe, she is why this is the generation who will abolish abortion.
Here is Zoe’s account:
“Hi, I’m Zoe. Something happened Friday night that a friend wanted me to blog about. I don’t have Facebook or Twitter or anything like that so I’m borrowing my mom’s page for now.
“What happened was a pro-life rally. We had showed up when only 4 people were there. I guess we were supposed to get there early. As more and more people came, a car arrived. A woman came out and opened the trunk. There were 3,300 carnations in the back of that car. We started to unload and unwrap the flowers. Lily, Bella, and I started to write pro-life statements with chalk on the sidewalks when some pro-abortionists came. They were holding signs and chanting:“A baby’s not a baby till it comes out, that’s what birthdays are all about!” They were blowing whistles and jumping around acting like 5-year-old children. I was so sad that these people were so blinded I started crying. Then we started laying down the flowers all across the sidewalk. When we finished, the line of carnations was probably a mile long. A pro-life woman let me hold a crucifix that she had. I started clutching it close to my heart. My knees were shaking, so were my hands.

Obama admin introduces gay rights declaration at UN
Tweet by Kathleen Gilbert
Tue Mar 22, 2011 12:25 EST
Comments ()Tags: gender identity, obama, sexual orientation, unWASHINGTON, D.C., March 22, 2011 ( LifeSiteNews.com )- An upcoming declaration by the Obama administration will mark the first time the United States has endorsed homosexualist policy at the United Nations.

The statement condemning any criminal punishment against homosexual activity and urging greater attention to rights related to sexual orientation is scheduled for delivery Tuesday at the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva, reported the Associated Press Monday.

The document, which has received support from 80 other countries, also calls upon the UN to scrutinize how governments worldwide treat homosexuals.

While acknowledging that “these are sensitive issues for many,” the document urges the finding of “common ground” and states that “in dealing with sensitive issues, the Council must be guided by the principles of universality and non-discrimination.”

It also reaffirms a 2008 UN statement in support of the homosexualist agenda that urged an end to discrimination based upon “sexual orientation or gender identity,” and commends the “continued attention to human rights issues related to sexual orientation and gender identity within the context of the Universal Periodic Review.”

Ambassador Eileen Chamberlain Donahoe said that the U.S. government is “proud” to have taken a leading role in promoting the statement.

“Human rights are the inalienable right of every person, no matter who they are or who they love,” she said.“The U.S. government is firmly committed to supporting the right of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender individuals to lead productive and dignified lives, free from fear and violence. We look forward to working with other Governments from all regions and with civil society to continue dialogue at the Council on these issues.“

Although professing marriage as existing only between one man and one woman on the campaign trail, President Obama has courted the homosexualist lobby since taking office. Most recently he announced that his government would not defend the Defense of Marriage Act in court. Congressional Republicans later confirmed they would step up to defend the federal law, which is likely to face a challenge in the U.S. Supreme Court.

When the international homosexualist movement was gaining steam in the early 2000s, the United States under the George W. Bush administration had declined to sign on to similar documents

Democrats plan to include gay ‘marriage’ in new party platform
by Kathleen Gilbert
Mon Jul 30, 2012 17:24 EST
Comments (8)Tags: democratic party, gay marriage, obamaWASHINGTON, July 30, 2012 ( LifeSiteNews.com )- A committee in charge of drafting a new Democratic Party platform has included in its draft a plank endorsing the redefinition of marriage.

The gay news outlet Washington Blade quoted Rep. Barney Frank (D-Mass.), a member of the committee, who told the paper Monday that the group unanimously backed the new marriage plank after a national hearing in Minneapolis this weekend.

The 2008 Democratic National Committee (DNC) platform did not take an explicit stance on marriage, stating only that,“We support the full inclusion of all families, including same-sex couples, in the life of our nation, and support equal responsibility, benefits, and protections. We will enact a comprehensive bipartisan employment non-discrimination act. We oppose the Defense of Marriage Act and all attempts to use this issue to divide us.”

“I was part of a unanimous decision to include it,” Frank said, according to the Blade.“There was a unanimous decision in the drafting committee to include it in the platform, which I supported, but everybody was for it.”

Click “like” if you want to defend true marriage.
The report also cited an anonymous Democratic National Committee staffer who said the new platform would also oppose to the federal Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), and support employment protections based on sexual orientation - stances that already appeared in the 2008 platform.

FOX News confirmed the report with its own unnamed sources later Monday afternoon, and prominent Democrats immediately began hailing the decision.

“Our party has long been a leader on issues of justice and this reaffirms to the country that we are working on behalf of all our families, gay and straight,” said New Hampshire Democratic Sen. Jeanne Shaheen in a statement reacting to the news.

The platform is expected to undergo further revision before the final version is presented at the Democratic National Convention in September.

The DNC has yet to officially comment as of Monday afternoon.

After years of courting the gay rights lobby with various legislative initiatives, but eliciting ire for demurring on the marriage issue, President Obama announced support for same-sex ‘marriage’ in May. Obama had professed support for defining marriage as between a man and a woman throughout his 2008 campaign.

If the objective was to provide a program designed to provide older people with retirement income and healthcare social security and medicare was the wrong approach to take in the beginning.
The reason this was and is the wrong apprach is that since its inception everyoe who works makes and has made regular deposits into the general fund of the United States Treasury. Thegeneral fund is the very same fund used to fund defense spending or for funding most any other piece of legislation passed by congres and signed into law by the sitting president.
On more than one occasion congress has "used" the funds paid by all of America's working people to fund whatever pet project they deem fit. That is because congress has the spending authority as specified in the Constitution and that can basically do whatever they want to do with our social security and medicare funds.
The problem is Congress knows how to take these funds, but always seems to forget about replaceing what was taken. Had these funds been deducted from all working peoples pay checks for allof these years and been placed into a retirement investment program of each citizens's choosing those who are drawing benefits would most likely have a much better retirement to look forward to. Had social security and medicare been set up proplerly in the beginning we wouldn't be having this discussion about Obamacare or vouchers.
Personaly I don't think any insurance company should be able to deny anyone coverage because of an existing condition.
It is true. If you are sick and need medical care there isn't an emergency room in this country that can deny you care.
Every place that has privatized social security has found that benefits are double to three times that of government SSI. So let us say you get $1200 under government SSI. That would be $2400 to $3600 in private SS. Who can argue with that? The government that's who.
