Back talk is not good, BUT, I thought a teacher could not FORCE a student to recite the pledge. We had someone back in the 50s who for religious reasons would not, and I think that later became settled low.

Nothing should be forced, and if it is personal reasons, or religious, either way it is still our rights as American citizens to say the pledge or not. It is not in the constitution that we MUST say it.

I have the feeling we haven't really been gotten the whole story except what the media are making out of it. Remember the media and Jessica Lynch? They [the media] can't be trusted to get it right.

Daily Horoscope for December 3

Leo

Life seems a little bleak today, but it's important to remain as positive as you can. This is simply one of those days when everything gets on top of you, making you feel weary. If you do have something specific and urgent to worry about, it's far better to take some constructive action, even if it needs a lot of courage, than to brood and fret.
