I can't count how many of you so-called Christians around Winona say you aren't going to vote for Obama just because he's black. You all are so ignorant and simple-minded. I can't even tell that Winona has moved out of the 1950s sometimes. You go to church every Sunday and criticize everyone for every little sin, but somehow it's okay to be a racist. You have a hot place in HELL awaiting. Shove your Holy Bible where the sun don't shine, you racist hicks!

is it any of your business , who any one Votes for?? just because someone does not vote for a black man does not make them racist, people have the option to choose who they want!! personally I will be voting for Obama because that is my choice, and I am a Christian... as for my Bible it will stay on my dresser, you might want to open one up though.

Yes, people have the right to vote for who they want to vote for. I also could care less about your Holy Bible, and I will not waste my time reading a bunch of made-up boring stories. I'm just pointing out how many of the so-called Christians, mostly Southern Baptists (pentecosts around Winona) and Pentecostals, have told me they are not voting for a black man. These are people that have been Democrats their entire lives, but they refuse to vote for a black man. If that's not racism, I don't know what is.

Voting based on color is racist and ignorant whether you claim to be Christian or not. I have to say that I think the recent move by some of the more fundamental churches to endorse a political candidate was innappropriate. NO - it was a violation of the law. I support freedom of speech. I think the Churches should be able to say whatever they want. I also think that donations to them should not be tax deductible. You can't have it both ways.

For you information not every Christian is a hypocrite. If their heart is truly right with God they won't judge a person by their color of their skin. It is truly sad and they will have to answer to God for that. As for you saying something about God word being shoved somewhere. The only place it needs to be is in your face where you can read what God said. The only sin that God doesn't forgive for is blasphemy, to me this is totally disrespecting God. It sounds to be that you are a lost person that needs to find God. I pray that you do. But please don't degrade God's word. As for a hick, God created both rural and urban areas. That's basically what I've been exposed to. You know some people that have did that, and I do to. I'm not making this up, it is actually happening. There is nothing wrong with being rural, but the one's that are just plain racists are the ignorant hicks. Now, go tell your racist pentecostal pastor what I said.

Well - if the Pentecostal pastor says he won't vote for Obama because he is black then I would say that he is racist. If he says that Obama will take away our guns, raise our taxes, and institute socialized medicine then he's just uninformed. That is how you tell

One more thing - If he suggests that he should stay out of politics and support the separation of church and state then he's doing his job and I might have been quick to judge.

These assertions are completely false and designed to play into the worst kind of stereotypes. The truth is that Barack Obama is a committed and active Christian. Barack has never been a Muslim or practiced any other faith besides Christianity, and in January 2005 he was sworn into the U.S. Senate on his family Bible. Learn more about this and other anti-Obama smears and help push back with the truth: http://my.barackobama.com/fightthesmears Together we can make sure these negative and divisive attacks don't affect this campaign. I am originally from Winona and now live in Kansas City. I have friends from many different backgrounds and am definitely not racist. I am not voting for Obama because our opinions differ on most of the issues- not because he is black. Grow up- you sound like Murtha.

It is so scary that supposedly normal, educated people are taken in by a smooth talker. How many of you Obama supporters have actually read about his views and policies? WAKE UP! This man endorses traitors who should have been tried for treason many times over. I am not really concerned about what happens to someone who likes to wallow in their ignorance. However, I am concerned with what happens to my loved ones if Obama gets to be our President. No, not because he is black; because he is against everything this Nation stands for. How many of you remember the horrific scene on television the morning of September 11, 2001? Now, how many of you want that to happen again? I know John McCain is not perfect and he makes mistakes as any average human will do but who can dispute his love for our Country? He also has years of experience dealing with problems facing our country. These same people go to the polls in droves, not caring about anything but their biased political leanings. Please, everyone! Think about what you are doing. No one has to know how you vote; just do not vote against the United States of America!

You must be talking about John McCain. "endorses traitors who should have been tried" Keeting 5; G. Gordon Liddy - convicted felon, domestic terrorist and friend of John McCain. Rev Hagee; religious lunatic - follower of Hitler. Think about your own words "educated people" who support Obama. I guess that's compared to the fear-mongering rednecks from Knuckle drag. Obama has a policy that makes sense. He's been in the IL state senate and the US senate. Now all of a sudden you have evidence that changes something??? Show your cards. Put it on the table!!!! Lets see evidence - not chin music. Could it be that your candidate has spun wildly out of control and you'll say anything. Obviously that's the case. You've yet to say anything that makes sense. Wild accusations with no basis in fact. Please - everyone - don't listen to the rantings of the racially motivated - or delusional right. Vote for the country!!! Obama/Biden

"Fear-mongering rednecks"? You sound just like an Obama supporter. Think about it for a second, how would it sound to the nation if a McCain supporter threw out the 'n' word as a reason for people to vote for Obama? That is a horrible thing to say, and a stereotype just like many others. There are many terrible things said about Obama that the majority of Americans know aren't true (i.e calling him a Muslim, etc.). But I've read other blogs such as this slandering John McCain just as badly. One person wrote that John McCain couldn't possibly be a hero when all he did was get captured. Whether or not you like John McCain's policies, he definitely is a Patriot that should be respected for serving his country. My point is that there are people on both sides who will say things that are over the line. It doesn't make every McCain supporter a redneck or a racist, and it doesn't make every Obama supporter extremely liberal or radical or a terrorist. It's obvious no one is changing anybody's mind, so why the pointless arguing and slandering? Agree to disagree.

I am an Obama supporter. Congratulations on figuring that out. Everything I have said in here is about McCain's flawed policies!!!! I didn't say he wasn't a patriot. Being a patriot or POW doesn't qualify you to be president. If that was the case we could just get one from GITMO. Proposing a health care plan that will come near paying for itself does. Proposing a tax plan that doesn't give billions to the uber wealthy does. A plan for Iraq that doesn't include another 'hundred years' does. I try to talk about facts and Cherokee says something stupid like 'Obama is against everything this country stands for.' No evidence - no footnote - just a pig ignorant statement. Then suggesting that an Obama presidency will result in another 9/11. Why didn't you get all sanctimonious with him???????

You CAN choose to vote by color!!!!! However most intellegent people don't. The constitution in this country offers many freedoms: Speech, Worship, Sexual orientation and the right to vote for the candidate of choice regardless of color or degree of "hot-ness". The law also provides the expectant mother the final say in her health choices rather than a handful of religious money-grubbers. Are you a homophobe and racist????

Voter - One other thing that might be of interest to you. There's an organization that does NOT tolerate homosexuality, abortion, devil worship and has instituted a theocratic form of religious government. Flag burning is a punishible crime. They are called the Taliban. You don't even have to vote!!!!!!
