Get a grip on reality people. There are some positive things that can out of this.
I won't disagree about the positives, but this is America where corruption runs rampent. I for one do not like seeing my privacy freedoms taken away one little piece at a time like this law will eventually do. Also, if I were lost and had my cell with me, I would just call for help..

Thank you because that is my choice, not some corrupt pig or government official.
It's your choice to be kidnapped, bound, gagged and raped? Good luck with that!

Thank you for taking my comments out of context. As you'll note I previously stated that there very well could be some benefit to this law. However, there are also some very real potential privacy issues, I was just highlighting one. It all depends on how it's implemented.

I am glad to see not everyone is buying into this cell phone tracing as being all on the up and up. You can bet there is something more insidious behind this. Very rarely is anything done with just the publics safety or welfare in mind. While that may be a small useful thing in a missing persons case, there will be many other uses as well. The I-phones have batteries that cannot be removed. That means they are always able to be traced. Why do you think that was so important?

You'd think so but then again I don't think you know any cops. There is a criminal element within police agencies that is higher per capita than most professions.
