so, let's see...
1) County employees can still pick up a nudie mag at a nearby convenience store
2) Co. employees can access online porn if they have an laptop, Iphone, or other similar phone
3) Co. employees can go still visit a local strip club
4) Co. employees can still order an in room "massage"

Yup, problem solved.

Seriously? How about just saying - We won't pay for the porn you watch. I feel I've moved back to Kansas. How backwards ass can you get.

I hope they never have to visit a big city.I don't think I've ever stayed in a hotel in San Francisco or New York that didn't offer adult films. Seems like they could be adding a lot of work to the plates of their travel coordinators. Dean is right- just don't allow them to claim the porn on the expense reports.

I'm sure the Marriotts and Hiltons of the world are petrified at the thought of losing all the business they get from Winona County.

It's legal, just don't pay for it.

Last time I worked for a County the computer I was given had all the shortcuts set to porn sites.

And what about all the federal employees who were viewing porn at work including Federal Reserve?

Porn is the new Norm!

Again,

Government legislating morality.

When will it stop.

What next, they will tell us what church to attend?

What idiots. Who would actually watch porn and expect to claim it on expenses?

As a tax payer in the State of Minnesota, I thank you Winona County. Naturally, however, Democrats will oppose this policy.

What an amazingly stupid, random, ill-advised bit of nonsense.

Are you for real? This kind of nonsense is perpetrated by the nancy-boys at this group. My guess is that all these "men" have their nuts in a vise thanks to the overbearing nature of their wives, whom they see as a direct replacement for their over-domineering mothers. That says "Democrat" voter to me...

So you advocate controlling what an adult has for entertainment?

What does this have to do with taxpayers? When I worked for government, all the government did was pay for the room -- anything "extra" was on me, including phone calls, room service, etc.

The REAL question is, why are the employee's spending any nights in a motel? Yeah, I know what you think -- I am like a dog who just won't let go.

As a tax payer I want government workers to stay at the least expensive lodgings available. I see a new cottage industry of fundie run hotels that charge a 20% surcharge to be porn-free. Your tax dollars at work.

A needless feel good policy that will make the travel department loopy. Most bright governments don't allow charges for any movie much less porn on travel vouchers.

So viewing it in that context, they are legislating morality. Next will be the "R" rated movies etc.

On a side note, why are there so many employees from this little village traveling and staying in motels?
