I wonder if this guy was the inspiration for the character "odd ball" in the movie Kelly's Heroes. Word to your homies, the Winona court system is very friendly to drug dealers and users.

I hope the snitch feels good for helping to pull this guy back into line. Who knows, the pot may have led to heavier stuff? Might stunt his growth ;-)

Why is it relevant in this, and many other newspaper "crime" articles that perpetrator is a veteran?

90% of veterans never see combat, although some of them might have been in danger. For most of them, the service is their first real job.

Some of them were messed up before they went into the service. And some messed up later. I would like to see the reasoning behind placing a stigma on all veterans for that tiny minority that turn to a life of crime or make mistakes.

Why was it relevant to note that Michael Phelps is the most decorated olympic athlete in history when he was "busted?" Because all kinds of normal, healthy, real people use pot and don't succumb to some stereotype that has been propagated by the anti-drug lobbies.
President Barry did it. Bushy did it. Clinton (cough) wasn't smart enough to inhale (right.) Too bad all these "criminals" have not learned from the "error of their ways," huh?? It's all who you are, not what you do, that determines if you are a "criminal" or not.

Crime is something that affects others. Grandpa growing a few plants on his own property, in the absence of PROOF of outside sales to others, ain't gonna hurt anyone. He's a patriot. He is pursuing life, liberty, and happiness, AND served his country. All the more reason to leave him the heck alone!
