MnDOT to begin repairing Winona bridge on Thursday

The Minnesota Department of Transportation says work should begin by Thursday on repairing about 15 gusset plates on the Minnesota 43 bridge over the Mississippi River at Winona.

I often wonder why I94 between St Paul and Hudson is fully equiped with speed sensors and traffic cameras when the metro isn't afforded the same coverage.

Seems to me lots of MnDOT and state of Minnesota employees live in Wisconsin.

There should be a residency requirement!

Every day, there's a new article published about how some Minnesota bridge is shut down and under repairs. Seems like every bridge in this state is unsafe and about to collapse at any minute. When will these bridge scare tactics die down???
