Really? Emmer won't gather at the party of "I want more?" If we really want government accountability we need to kill LGA. All this redistributionism just gets in the way of President Obama's transparency. We need to know what costs what and where the money's going to come from.

Who's the sponsor, WDFL, or League of Liberal Women Voters? RedStar, or government "always need more funding" radio? I don't know why a Republican candidate would attend any of these debates.

So he is attending a fundraiser for the MTA, good for him. Truckers voices need to be heard also. How many debates does one person really need to go to?

Emmer brilliantly ignoring outstaters.

"Spokesman Chris van Guilder says Emmer is meeting with the Minneapolis Chamber of Commerce and attending a fundraiser with the Minnesota Trucking Association."

See - he has to thank these folks for loading MN Forward up with cash. Got his priorities straight.

Real man of the people that Tommy.

That's fine...there will be plenty of time to make Dayton look like a fool over the next few months...

Right, why debate your opponents in an election for governor? I mean, who can handle a debate on the issues? It's like Palin running from Softball Couric. Real spine there.

PS - The Star Tribune is owned by Republicans. Has been for a while now. Now blow up and tell me I'm crazy instead of investigating for yourself. Start with "Wayzata Investment Partners".

I had to look up what this group is all about. Quite frankly it looks pretty similar to other groups that do the exact same thing......For every conservative listed there are twice as many liberals. They also have lobbyists listed. What is this groups purpose? On their web page it's pretty much the standard bringing jobs and growth to cities. However, I shuddered when I read the term "progressive", isn't that the code word for Socialist?

Yeah...that would right after he does the debate today in northern MN, if I'm not mistaken. Can't get much further out-state than that. Do we really need them to sit in a row and answer questions day after day? I'd rather split up the debates so that there is some new material to cover...

Anyone who posts under the ID "Intelligent Adult" is probably neither. The whole theme of any debate run by Greater MN would be all about why everything is underfunded. I think by skipping this Emmer makes a greater statement than he could ever do at this debate. He's saying forget it budget cuts are coming!

The responses of the ankle biters speak for themselves. Emmer campaign - afraid to debate, happy to lob feces in the gutter.

Hey, that's OK.

Vodka tonics are my drug of choice. Maybe we should save a few bucks and car pool to some of these campaign events. Do you have a valid drivers license? Maybe your car too. Those whiskey plates of mine always draw a crowd from those surly beaches from the MADD crowd.

"Progressive" is a code word for Socialist if you drink the Glen Beck Koolade by the gallon.

If you think the Red Star tilts to the right then you are even crazier than Dayton.

Exactly!! Debates are all rehearsed anyway. HOw about getting out and talking to the people face to face.
