Hoorah hoorah,I am so pleased to read about this article, I have lived in winnsboro for most of my life, and recently moved about 4 yrs ago, and I am honored to see that there are some people in our home town, that is making a positive step in the right direction, I think this should be a lesson to the youth of fairfield county that it does not matter where your from, but look at where you can go, I hope this sends a positive message for our kids of fairfield county!!!!

How wonderful to see a band from South Carolina get this type of exposure on national TV. Their music was awesome and really complemented the singers. They looked good and sound good.

I'm a member of the United House of Prayer, and to see the Bumble Bees display their performance made many of us proud. We have the opportunity to listen to them at many of our church programs and the Bumble Bees have always blessed our services. It was such a pleasure to see one of the best bands of the United House of Prayer to share their talents at the Grammy's. It is one unforgettable moments.

Congratulations to them!! It is WONDERFUL to hear good news out of Fairfield!

I have had the pleasure of being on the marching band with some of the musicians from the House of Prayer, and believe me when I say that I have NEVER heard anything like that, or since...playing by ear after hearing something ONCE, and making those instruments SING!

Again, congrats to them, and I hope they will have many more opportunities to shine!

I thank you so much for running this piece on The Madison BumbleBees. I am a member of The United House of Prayer (HOP)for 53 yrs. and this is the music I've grown up on. It's a blessing to see that people outside of the HOP enjoy our music as much as we do, because there is none like it anywhere.
The Madison BumbleBees did an excellent job at the Grammy's and I was extremely proud of them as they represented the HOP with dignity. As they talked, it was refreshing to hear how humble they spoke about their music. This is because the music comes from Almighty God through them and out of their horns.
We have so many Bands in the HOPs throughout the US and the music they play is extremely spiritual. So, if you want to hear more, just look up The United House of Prayer For All People, where The Honorable S.C. Madison is our Bishop.

The original Bumblebees of the United House of Prayer started in the early 1960's under Bishop McCollough. They brought about a tremendous change to the way shout bands played in the church.
This very young group of southern teenagers took the church by storm. Bishop McCollough said of the band leader, Jerry Ford, " that he was unparalleled as a band leader in modern times because he knew exactly " what to play, how to play and when to play. In other words, Mr. Ford had a sense of perfect timing.

To the third generation Bumblebees,
"you stand upon the shoulders of the greatest House of Prayer band in history. Keep playing and stay strong in the House of Prayer faith.

Well alright Madison Bumble Bees and the town of Winnsboro, SC. I am from Philadelphia, PA, and thoroughly enjoyed the music of the band on the Grammy show. Even without being there I could feel the anointing that came forth from their playing, and could see the effects of it on the other performers on the stage. Even the "Queen of Soul" almost took off in a step or two, it was truly alright!
