"Smith's neighbor received a phone call earlier Tuesday from Smith, saying he wanted to come, but couldn't because he was in darkness. That is when police were notified."

The neighbor was probably confused as well and that's why he/she called the police. Seems to me he may have signs of alzheimers. I'm not a doctor but that is what it sounds like to me.

Come where? Home? Darkness? Early Tuesday would not have been dark. He did know how to call his neighor which was a good thing. I do realize that he make have Alzheimers or something. I live in Winnsboro and I know we are not good about solving anything especially if it one of us. His face looks familiar but not enough information. I hope and pray that he is found safe and SOON!!!

That story didn't make any sense to me! Is he still missing or did they find him in a hotel with his young girl friend?

OK, now Gramps had me feeling all sorry and concerned for him...but he's telling some cock and bull story so he can go out and get a piece? COME ON!!(We all know she was just being "nice" to him because those SS checks are coming soon...)

Is it just me, or are other people tired of folks running away, having people look for them, then to find out that they were fine the whole time??

This makes it so bad for real kidnapping and missing of people...POP was getting his groove on while the family and others are afraid for what the ending would be. Especially, with all the happenings in this world today.

The man is old, not dead. Just because a man gets old, does not mean that he has forgotten what the sweet spot feels like.Life is for the living, because when you are dead you are done, so let the good times roll.

Oh No, he has lost it. Maybe that young woman can bring him back to life. A Old man don't want a old woman. I can see them now calling out Jesus name.

That is what I was thinking. He was probably with a "trick" and she beat him out his money. He just needed an excuse to tell his wife or family.
