Someone needs to report Deano!!! The citizens of Winnfield are paying his mayor salary while he is getting paid BIG $ as CEO of the new clinic in Winnfield. How can he do this? This needs to be reported to the Attorney General!!!!!!

If you have the proof, YOU can be that SOMEONE. DON'T WAIT FOR ANOTHER TO DO A JOB THAT NEEDS TO BE DONE! You have as much authority as any other citizen.

The city crews are picking up the garbage again. hmmm, wonder if waste mgmt didn't get paid? If not who got the money? Just a thought. What kind of a clinic is that? We need a vet clinic bad and I heard he treated his workers like dogs so mabye that it?

well, the mayors position is not a full time job in the city of winnfield. check the law. just more of that winnfield mentality, if i'm broke i want you to be broke to, don't want to see anybody do good for themselves

Very good Bubba. I seem to remember that the mayor before him had another job and nobody seemed to mind. Dodson and Calvin mayors have other jobs. Must be just THIS mayor cant seek to improve his situation by getting another job during his last year or so in office.

And nope, not a family member or good friend of his. Just try to see things fairly and objectively when everyone starts screaming foul!

I suspect he has improved his situation greatly where he's at. No proof, just too much smoke for no fire.

I say thanks to The mayor and the other people that got the clinic here in Winnfield. I have been going to Natchitoches because I don't have insurance. I only have to pay $18.00 for the office visit and $5.00 for a lab test if I need one.

I know a lot of people that doesn't have insurance. Think about the ones that this clinic can help.

Why are some of you picking on this mayor. He is the first one not to have another job until now. One was an electrician, furniture store operator, hardware store owner and on. Actually there is probably 15 people in the Courthouse that makes more than him. The Sheriff and Tax Assessor and Judge and Clerk makes twice what he makes and some don't have near the amount of headaches that he has to put up with.

Looks like another Shelton enterprise owned and operated by the Shelton family! Not only do they own the building but Mark is the Doctor that's over it. I think the concept is good for the community, I just hate that the Shelton's keep getting richer without giving anything back to the community.

Thanks to the Mayor and everyone that help us get the clinic. the Shelton's had a building that was for rent & Dr Mark Shelton is a Dr.

Did you have a building for rent or you Dr that the wanted the Job

So just be thankful we have a clinic
