I was passing through Winnfield and made the mistake of going to the Burger King drive through. First of all, S-L-O-W service. I left the restaurant and started back on my travels before I opened my food bag. What is going on with the fries? They were covered with black burnt grease specks. Soggy. Nasty. And the Whopper...the meat was black. Bun also burnt. And even the Coke didn't taste like Coke. Is this common for this establishment? I can't call the 800 number to complain because I didn't get a receipt. I will be traveling through the area frequently the next few weeks, can anyone offer a good place for a quick bite to eat? I'd appreciate it (and you'll need to tell me where it is). Thank you.

This whole town is horrible, and it gets worse every year. Didn't you notice the dark cloud lifted as you exited?

Haha! The dark cloud lifted! I went to burger king one night and was going to order when they told me I had to wait an hour while they did something with the computers, its a 24-7 resturaunt.. so I told the woman that was false advertisement, she told me oh well not my fault, so i drove around to the window to ask for a manager, she told me she was the manager and if I had a problem with how she ran her shift I needed to leave, I then told her I would be contacting her superviser, she stated "go head b*tch, i got you, your car, your tag, your face, report me b*tch" then proceeded to throw a coffee pot of hot water on my car and then a bag of coffee grounds! I photographed it, and showed the superviser two days later, she said the problem would be delt with, she still works there now 2 months later!

I doubt many points of your story. I don't think any of the "managers" would take the drive to speak with customers. They would not take the extra drive to see license plate #'s or remember faces. They see too many cars to remember one certain car. This is a "franchise" establishment, so I just doubt so many parts of your story. I am entitled to my thoughts.

Thats fine your entitled to your opinion, but my husband who was in the car with me at the time can vouch for my story, it was a short black woman with shoulder lenght curly hair, so you can doubt what you want, the service there is terrible, they have horrible lazy rude staff, and the superviser I spoke with was a fat black woman. Also I really dont aprreciate being called a liar..

I believe you. They're the sorriest meanest bunch and very nasty. It does no good to complain. I think one of the Indian tribes own the franchise there, not sure, but whoever does needs to lose it.

If you think they won't get in your face out there go out there and complain about something.

Thank you, this whole town has gone to crap, Ive been racking my brain all morning about who to contact about all the things wrong here, including the water, thats my biggest concern right now!

I used to work there and i know for a fact that this is the norm at bk. I was a manager there for yrs and it just got worse and worse so i bailed.

Now under new management! All the managers were fired! We have a whole new crew! And are trying our hardest to get back in tip top shape!

I have to agree with someone who knows. In the past I have had a few bad experiences with them, and in fact, did not darken their door for two years. We went there the other day however, because a friend wanted to. We ordered, and before I could finish gettig my drink our meals were ready! I was impressed! I told the worker there that I was, and she said they were trying to make things better. I hope that this continues, because I do like their burgers!

I can assure that BK ain't nowhere near as bad as McDonalds in Winnfield. That place has the worst service of any fast food restaurant ever. And don't expect to be able to complain to anyone in authority. Any problems that you complain about the manager on duty will refuse to give you a name or a number for anyone to talk to. They refer you to a 800 number on the wall and you call and get a message and never hear back from them.

I have stood in line for 15-20 minutes for food and then watched a McD's employee who is off work or some person that knows the people working in there walk in the door and say hi to everyone and order what they want and in 2 minutes they are sitting at a table eating. I have gone in the Winnfield McD's and stood at the register for 5 minutes waiting on someone/anyone to wait on me. There would be one person at the drive thru window. There would be one person in the back cooking. There would be 2 or 3 employees sitting at various seats around the restaurant on their "break" eating and texting. And me and others would just be standing there waiting.

I have had occasional problems at BK as well such as the fact that they run out of certain cup sizes all the time. Sometimes they don't have certain flavors of sodas. But I never really had a problem getting waited on. McDonalds is an every time problem whether you drive thru or go inside.

Me & sum of my girls went n there the other day. It was 8 of us & 6 of our orders where wrong. The coke machince was stopped up,had water running all over the place. The cashier didn't know what she was doinm she kept screwing up & kept having 2 get a girl from the back cookin 2 fix it. They just need 2 shut down all bk & get it over w/or pay them a lil money w/more hours than 4 hours a day. I know sum1 that was workin n jonesboro & lived n winn. Workin 4 hours a day wasn't even payin 4 his gas. But that was all he could find & they even told him that they won't him 2 b trained as a manger,but they never did,that's way he was stayin w/them bc they told him that & plus manger made a hell of lot more. BK SUCKS!!!

Contact burger king head quarters and get a mystery shopper in there. then the head corporation will do something.

I agree the place is not consistant and is always out of something.
