The post for help with finding commodites got sort of swayed off topic. Lets see how everyone feels about how the goverment is spending our tax dollars. I feel like they are taking the food out of my mouth that I bought and paid for and giving it to others who have had a hand out since the day they were born.

Anyone else want to vent on this subject? Should anyone really be entitled to freebies?

Why do people on public assistance also deserve free home and cell phone service??? Where does it stop?

To see the booties, go here. I wouldn't mind a pair, myself. They would be good once the cooler weather gets here.

It's kind of a long big page. The booties are closer to the bottom than the top. I suggest looking at the whole page, though, if you want to get the warm fuzzies (fuzzys?)

That is the problem it does not stop anywhere. I guess next they will give all on assistance free computers with DSL. Go ahead and give them and x-box and some games while you are at it. I get so mad when I go to the store and carefully pick out the necessities I have to have. I look over to someone who has a buggy piled high with great looking stuff and they pay with a card. They also have all kinds of junk food in the buggy. We pay to get them fat and sit around. Why can't junk food be exempt from their purchase, especially soda and chips.

I made another post before that one . When I looked before signing in,it skipped from post #2 to post #4. I don't know if that's how you're seeing it or not because when I signed in, my missing post was still there. I guess it doesn't matter if I can still see it, just as long as no one else does. Surely it's not because I said "crap". I got a message when I tried to post about profanity and offensive language, but I went back and added an asterisk to the cr*p. It couldn't have been because of the rest of the post, though. If the "crap" gets through, I'll know it was the rest of the post. I can see the post I made when I click on my name. If I determine the content was the problem, I'll copy, paste, and then modify it and try again.

OK. Here goes.

I was talking about the $70K we spent on tv ads in pakistan denouncing the movie clip they're raging over.
I said, facetiously, "It worked wonders. Really. Peaceful protests only. No murders. No sticking it to us by destroying their own theaters and a toll booth. No snazzy American Flag insult-booties."
I just tried this with the link to the ad, which is on youtube. Maybe that's the problem.

Oh my GOD!!! The "profanity and offensive language" message I got was because of the link to the ad they showed in pakistan! It was footage from speeches made by b o and hillary, that they stuck together. It WAS OFFENSIVE, to US, that it was pretty much a big butt-kiss; but I don't think that's why topix won't allow it. Maybe they're not allowing any links to youtube because they think someone will post a link to that movie clip. I don't like that. We ARE NOT IN Iran or Saudi Arabia. If you want to see it, you can go to youtube and do a search on
"The Anti-Anti-Islam Film TV Ad By US in Pakistan Repudiating Film"
