I for one really appreciate the city crews that worked through the night to get my lights on. I have my scanner on and they are still working. I think we are fortunate to be in a small town with our own crews and not peril to the big corporate decision makers.

I started this forum more so talking about how it stinks to be without electricity. I do think that the electric companies should do a little what do you call it charlie "preventive maintenence" to keep so much of these problems from happening and then we would not have power going out every time a limb falls. but the good news is that the electricity is back on and we are cool, and have ac, cold food, internet, exc.

There are still many Winn Parish residents that do not have electricity or water, especially out around the lake.
