Chris got on the phone with me awhile back when I had a legal question. Very friendly and he even remembered me when I met him before the election and promised him my vote, and I am nobody with no big shot friends. I grew up a few houses away from Mike & Perry Joe, PK & Margie and they always treated everyone nice and they all worked. There's sure a lot of hatred in Winnfield if Topix is a measure of that.

Your statements are typical of the common trash on topix, but what is so funny is the name you have chosen to sign on here. I know you are not that person, because they would never use their name. Are you trying to use this person to take you flake from all your ignorant statements?????? Hmmmm....very curious.

would you rather have terry reeves back in charge? at least people are not in fear of being put in jail just because the da doesn't like you.

Having kept up with Mr Nevils through news articles and what I have heard about him from other people, I have to respectfully disagree with the comments posted by "I Know". I've read several newspaper articles about Nevils balancing the budget and cutting down on spending in the DA's office, is this a bad thing? I remember the misuse of taxpayer's money before Nevils became DA, is that how you want the office to be run again? It sounds to me like that same group is trying to get back into office so they can start spending taxpayer's money again.

I don't think we have to concern ourselves with Terry coming back to spend anymore money. Chris has a handle on that one.

You would think that with all his Daddy's money and Daddy in law's money, he wouldn't need the taxpayers to fund his trips and his tricked out ride.

Hey Chris, are ya going to the June and July conferences in Florida this year? I'm sure you'll find some grant money to pay for it all.

You are not allowed these types of mistakes when you are in public office. He was elected to make a difference, not make the news.

He really should resign. He can't prosecute people for something he is guilty of, oh wait he doesn't prosecute anyone for DWI he puts them in the "D.A.'s DWI payout plan". The same plan started by our EX D.A. And didn't Chris say he wouldn't do that when he was running for office? Looks like he is a liar AND a DRUNK besides now being a criminal hit & run driver!
