Sick and Tired

Wal-Mart is getting worse and worse, they never have anything in stock anymore, hardly any checkers, and there could be a line 10 people deep. Im just sick and tired of never finding anything that I want there anymore......I think Im gonna start going to Jonesboro or Natchitoches.

Their new procedure is supposed to be computer generated - when an item sells, the computer is supposed to ordered it automatically. My problem is if they don't have it in stock (printer ink) before they started the new system, how are they supposed to stock it??? We asked the dept. manager over electronic to order us some ink (has a place for it on the rack) about 4 weeks ago - still no ink, we were told about the above new system. which so far sucks!!!

trust us, those of us that work there are not liking it either, but until there are enough complaints at home office about the "new" system we can do nothing about it....as for lack of staff we understand that too. we are tired of working short handed....but here again Corporate office is making the schedules...there are nights that we only have ONE cashier over night....im telling you people get enough people to call corporate office and start complaining....they will get tired of hearing from you.....

My husband is a Wal-Mart truck driver and believe me, Wal-Mart's issues go far beyond having store shelves stocked and available clerks and cashiers ... Going to the store manager for answers is a joke, all they are worried about is their big bonus check at the end of the year! If you have ANY issues with anyting at Wal-Mart, call 1-800-WALMART and although it may be a while before some REAL changes are seen, they do take the calls seriously and address what is brought to their attention. If they get enough calls about a particular store they WILL take some sort of action!

I've driven to Jonesboro or Natchitoches several times for printer ink. Shop at home. Right.

Us that work there are tired of working short handed also. It is hard when you don't have extra help to get the stock out on the floor.

So you need to take it to the main office maybe then we can get some extra help so that maybe we can get it out if we have it. In some areas it is very hard to put out stock when there is one person in a department. But we do our best.

ok so here is a sloution for all of you that say wal-mart is crummy....How many of you actually pay attention to your reciepts that you get back at wal-mart? How many of you pay attention to the little credit card machine at each register? Well here is your chance to actually tell corporate something. Everytime you make a purchase whether it is a pack of gum or a a gallon of milk or personal items look at the credit card thing at the register BEFORE you pay the cashier, there will be a survey question on there answer it yes or no, if you use a debit or credit card to pay answer it BEFORE you swipe your card....then on some receipts there is a long blurb at the top of the receipt that gives you a password or something like that to go to a website and answer survey questions and leave comments about your shopping experience. It also enters you into a drawing for a 500 dollar walmart gift card....if none of that works for you then by all means call the 1-800-wal-mart and use that avenue to vent about your store...

nothing will ever get fixed or changed unless they know what the problem is.....so tell them

I have shopped in Wal Marts all over the country. I have never seen such a small worthless store till I moved here. When they remodled it they just polished a turd. It's a shame this store is located near the union of 3 major highways and this is what we have. I feel we are stuck with an over flow store. When one of the other stores get too much of some thing we get it sent here. How else can you explain the poor inventory & selections at this store???

This Super Walmart was built brand new from the ground up about 6-8 years ago, NOT REMODELED. It's clean and without it your choice would be outdated stuff at the other 2 messes. Consider their high overhead in such a small area and we're lucky to have it here. Petty complaints is what I see here.

Pretty much Charlie. Like I said if your not happy with the content of the store or the staff then exercise your freedom of speech and call 1 800 walmart......besides our remodel is scheduled for next year....

besides we can only stock what the DC sends us...we do not get to choose our product.

Was there the other day and they only had one line open for over 20 items. Had to stand in line FOREVER while the person 3 people in front of me used a competitor's ad to discount her purchases.

I had frozen food that was defrosting while there was 2 lines in the speedy lanes open and people running through them.

Why not have 2 lines for everyone open and 1 speedy line?

When I shop there and the survey pops up the cashier turns the little screen around and answers the question herself before I have a chance to answer it. Two different cashiers have done this.

I have had this happen several times this week by different cashiers. They are paid bonuses (I hear) based on the survey results. I ask what buttons they are pushing, they won't answer. Then I tell them that they Didn't say "Hi" to me or that the store was indeed dirty or whatever the question was. They just smile because they know that they have been caught.
