Seems there are some people here in good old Winn Parish that feel we should not be able to feed deer corn. That somehow this gives us an unfair advantage to legally and ethically harvest a deer.

What do you think on the subject for or against?

Are planting food plots ok? Not?

What about pouring out rice bran? Yes? No?

How about stuff like Deer Cocaine, Acorn Rage, Sugar Beet Crush?

Creating salt licks? Yes? No?

How about using deer attractant scents? Fair? No?

Let's hear what you got to say for or against.

i personally have no problem with it, as long as u use the deer u kill, don't kill for the fun or joy of it. use the meat, if u don't give it away. just my views.

I don't know anybody that deer hunts strickly to just "kill" a deer. That is a stupid statement.

Everybody I know uses the meat for food or gives it to families that need it and will eat it.

Are you voting for Barack Omama becaue he is bi-rasial (black dad and white mom)or is your life really better now than 4 years ago. Education is the best information. Looking at the friends he keeps is scary. He is not really out to help the the poor people like Robin Hood. Do you have a friend or family that has benefited from his policies for the last 4 years. I donot, If this president does not get people back to working and paying taxes there will not be any money to pay out all of the free benifits that a lot of people are used to getting. Please talk to your friends and family. We really do not need another 4 years like the past 4 years.

T U W Y T - It makes no sense for you to ask people what they think if you're going to turn around and call their statements stupid. I bet no one in your life ever argues with you. Not because they always consider you right, but because this is how you act when someone expresses an opinion you don't like.

It is very clear that the "anti corn feeding" side of this are really anti hunting but won't come right out and say so. Nobody spends the kind of money it takes to deer hunt legally and successfully just to get the "thrill of killing". I agree it was a stupid statement.

That sounds like a coonass. They are not ethical or legal hunters for the most part. There are some that are but not many.

that's a racist comment! those folks from southern Louisiana have more money than you, they are good people. just cause you can't kill a deer & can't afford the gas to go duck hunt n fish down south don't insult the people from there.

I really doubt that they have more money than people around here. Besides money does not give you class or integrity. The main reason they come up here is they have abused their wildlife to where they have almost nothing to hunt down there. I have seen them tear up our land, trespass on our leases and shoot anything that moves. For the most part they just come up here and ruin the hunting for everyone else. And not to mention how many of the hunting dogs dissapear along with them when they go back home!

if you don't think there is more wealth in south Louisiana,(oil, gas, salt mining, farming, fishing, industry, aviation, tourism)
then the rest of your argument is moot. as a merchant I appreciate hunters from the south.

Chacahoula - What difference does it make how much money THEY have and how do you know how much money WINN PARISH HUNTER has? You assumed someone didn't have much money and tried to rub their face in it. You called him racist. You showed yourself to be childish.

I am sure they have money. But like I said money does not give you class or integrity. I have seen up close what they do to the hunting here and then they go back home. They do not respect our land or leases. The people with real money go to Texas, Montana or Colorado to hunt. And guess what, the people that spend money in your store all year round live right here in Winn Parish. I bet they don't think my argument is moot. But maybe you only think people with money are the ones worthy to hunt around here and shop in your business.
