Apparently they can drive down the interstate on wrong side and they sweep it under the rug. Or almost turn a bus over and nothing done about it...

Apparently, yes they can. And they can fraternize amongst each other without any boundaries. That is until someone gets tired of playing and starts screaming sexual harassment. Take as much prescription drugs as they wish for all their variety of mental illnesses without fear of any recourse. I realize we have a few really decent drivers but that is not the norm, it is the exception anymore. It is so sad that this is what our $300000 a year and more salary in tax dollars buys for children.

You forgot to mention being given a bus to use as your own personal vehicle. Just take a look around the county on any given weekday and you will see bus drivers shopping, dining out, running personal errands with their bus parked right outside. And everyone else is concerned about gas being $3.95 a gallon. I guess its no worry if your spending the counties money.

I live down one of the side streets in Winfield and I have never had a bus let me out at rush hour, even when they are stopped in front of me. I can even be turning and just need to get across and they will not help. But when they need out like the person said above they damn near force their way, and when they start coming they all come. They act like they are an emergency vehicle or something.
I guess they get paid by the day and they want to get done asap.

And they run 55mph+ on red house hill. One of them nearly got leveled by my husband when he ran me off the road while I was pregnant. Just almost put me in a guardrail. I sprained my hand because it was s low shoulder. Lucky it wasn't worse than that. Came through a curve straddling the line with nowhere for me to go.

Yet all the teachers and parents tell you to make your kid ride the bus when you complain about the crappy traffic plan for the drop off/pick up at the school...hmmmm. So, if all the kids had to ride the bus, these problems above would be worse, not to mention people would be putting their children in the hands of unsafe drivers, drug abusers, etc. like you are saying. Very nice advice.

I acctually saw a bus parked at Poca High waiting on the high school to get out, the driver got off the bus walked several buses up so they could talk or flirt with another bus driver, the bus was out of their site. There were younger students on the bus that were picked up at the elementary and middle school. These students were left alone on the bus with the engine running for well over 15 minutes. The students were chaotic, running up and down the aisle, wrestling, and smaking other kids in the head when they ran by them. No wonder bullying happens on the bus!

You say they were "smaking" other kids? Smaking them do what?

Someone turned in Rodney for driving and then officiating a game. He took 2 hrs off his sheet to allow for the game so he wouldn't get double paid. We all know it was Tim Dingess (aka-back stabber). And he officiates with you. I can only imagine what you do to your friends

I always found it funny that a several years back my bus driver would lay on the air horn if they even though someone was doing more than 15 MPH thru a school zone yet find it acceptable to do 45 thru winfield.
It should be 45 in winfield

UNTIL YOU GET BEHIND THE WHEEL AND DO OUR JOB, WHO ARE YOU TO JUDGE? There is so much more that goes on than anyone knows and we have some of the best drivers in the state. From what I can see most of these posts are from people that are not from this area, so what do you truly know anyway? Leave it alone and take care of yourself.
