I have heard some different topics about certain teachers at WHS..they range from teachers sleeping together, doing drugs, excessive absentism, and teachers still being allowed to continue to teach although they didn't complete there summer continuing ed hrs (required to keep a teachers cerft)...I'm not gonna be the one callin out names but I got a good idea on a few of those. Anyone care to share some info?

Is their special needs teachers good teachers my sons still in elementary but i have went to a seminar at the middle school and those teachers didnt have anything nice to say about their students at all they also got angry when the speaker corrected them on what they were doing wrong not the students. i was just wondering if it was just in the middle school if it was like that at the high school i hope not these kids have it hard enough as it is the last thing they need is teachers sleeping together and doing drugs.....

I am a concerned parent after reading this post. If this is true which from what i have been hearing is true why are we letting these 20 somethings come straight from the college life into being responsible for our childrens well being. I think instead of imposing drug tests on students maybe we might want to drug test those who are watching our children 8 hours a day.

Call a parent meeting. Demand answers! Stage protests outside the school! Make signs, name names, file lawsuits, get injunctions against these dastardly teachers and their evil-doer ways! Bunch of overpaid babysitters, show them you mean business! Force them out, make them resign, show them you are parents, YOU know what's best and YOU know that what you hear is 100% true. No one lies but those teachers! Toss them all!!

You can't just blame the teachers. We live in the most dumbed-down society in these times. The kids don't care about education. Most of them care about what stupid apps the can put on their iPhones to make them more apt to being lazy. You can't just say toss 'em all, because there are good educators in that school. Not all of them, but it's not their fault if kids don't want to learn. They've become so dependent on modern technology, they no longer see the importance of being able to solve an algebraic expression. I mean, why, when they can just look it up on their phones. You want to really blame someone? Blame yourself, blame society in general. You try teaching a bunch of teenage kids something in an educational environment and see how it is. In the meantime, don't accuse teachers of using drugs without getting facts first. So go ahead and stand in front of the school with your signs and "protest" all you want. You will see that you are alone, you are an idiot, and you will probably be removed by the police.

I would say if you are going to react like this to rumors, then the problem is probably starting at home. Looks like you are the problem.

Most teenagers want to learn at least I do but we need teachers that care bout us not their paycheck. We need good food to help fuel us up to learn. WHS is working on changing many things to make it better. None of you know what it's like now for students teachers on their phones, eating in class, leaving for 30 or more minutes, and much more so unless you want to become a kid again and deal with what we go through for 8 hours try asking your kids what's going on attend conferences be involved.

I cant help but think you are a teacher at this school!!! I don't have any children at this school they are both younger, but if this is what type of teachers are there they will not attend. If this is a teacher posting,I can understand defending yourself, but you took it too far. For the most part it shouldnt matter what u do outside school, but if u r doing drugs that is an issue and you shouldn't be teaching. Your responsible for children you are the example they see daily,so if they know yr doing this there r some children who have a crappy home life that look to you. It is sad if this is what some teachers show themselves to be. You can believe if my kids attend I will be all about who is teaching my kids. So let's hope people get themselves together. I will have no problem calling the board if something happens...

It has nothing to do with students doing drugs, it's about the teachers who are supposed to be teaching us. I have friends that have had sex with teachers at winfield. someone should call dateline and bust this "Blue Ribbon School" wide open.

I graduated from whs several years ago and if the teachers are on drugs I could understand why. To put up with all the sh*t head, spoiled little brat transplants that swarmed winfield. Use to be a nice town till all the transplants and low or mostly "no" income housing (Brittany point) came here. It was all about who's daddy made the most money and who could show off their parents money. And now your worried about them learning. You need to start at home. I honestly think it should be legal to discipline other poeples kids.
