Full story: Business First of Louisville

This week's announcement that Harley-Davidson Inc. narrowed its short list of possible motorcycle manufacturing sites to its existing plant in York, Pa., and a new facility in Shelby County, Ky., represented a significant vote of confidence in the rural Kentucky community.

Kentucky is an excellant choice for Harley, hope they close the York plant down soon, the union bums ruined the York plant.

I think KY would be great for Harley too. I just wonder if they do end up moving how long it would actually take? That would be such a boost to the growth in that area.:)

I live in Shelbyville, this area is so corrupted with their government.

Its about the dollar.

I hate it here. Only lived here for 10 years, grew up in Lousiville. Home growns help the home growns.

It is so full of illegal aliens, I can not imagine any company coming here. Most companies are moving out of here.

People say the world is changing and not for the best! Look at KY, it's so scary how things are changing from the good ol' ways it used to be. I'll be leaving KY soon because I can't take this anymore!

I'm tired of hearing people who either lost their job at the plant or never had the qualifications to get hired there in the first place wanting Harley to move. Do you realize the benifits the entire community gains by them staying. Think of the tax base that helps pay for different programs for kids and other intrests. Also other business' that rely on the income of those so called union bums, or Harley itself. These would all be lost. So before you let your jelousy take over your opinion think hard about how this move might affect not only the community but also you and your family.

If they move to Shelbyville, KY., the benefits will usually help the illegal aliens, now over 5000 are here draining any resource they can.

Isn't it something, people will want one city to lose a company so they can enjoy their prosperity. No one cares about what losses it contained by moving to another state and no one cares.

I was laid off here in Kc. Its sad that the only thing the CEO cares about is how much money is in their pocket today and dont care where the company will be when they are gone. The Kansas City plant sits on about 400 acres. So why not put the empty land to use and cut cost at the same time. Just seems silly to me.

Daily Horoscope for December 26

Scorpio

Something that you've always taken for granted or believed implicitly could have a big question mark hanging over it during the next few weeks. The more entrenched your views are about this, the more difficult it will be to accept that perhaps it's time for a change of opinion or, at the very least, a revaluation of what you think. Mercury turns retro in your house of communications, so do your best to be open-minded now.
