We ordered our pellets on March 18th and I received my receipt in the mail along with a letter from Steve Zaczynski thanking me for my order of 4 tons of pellets. He said in the letter to call after May 30th to schedule delivery which will start the second week of June. I called and set up delivery for June 17th. Well I have been calling every week since and kept getting pushed back on my delivery. Sometimes I was calling 3 times a week and Janice was very rude and finally I received 2 of my 4 tons on October 9th after I said I was going to the police department to file charges. I was promised the remaining 2 tons by the end of October and am still waiting. I called the Attorney General's office in CT and was told to send them a letter outlining my problems with them and copies of my purchase order and any corespondence I had with Newe England Pellet LLC. I will be sending the same copies to the Attorney General's office in MA. It may take time but hopefully we will all get our money back.

Steve Zaczynski? The son of retired Enfield policeman now the customer no service from the police is evident. Why dont the media look in to the reason the police would not follow up on complaints. They have more important things to do like making sure everybody has wristbands at the Taste of Enfield....

To every person here who said they ordered and didn't get their pellets "yet". I don't believe we ever will. Go down every avenue. Contact the Atty General in CT (and MA if you live in MA). Contact your credit card company or paypal. File a police report. If you paid by check contact the fraud department of your bank. But do not sit there hoping you are going to get your pellets or your money back from NEP LLC.

I did go to the police and was told it's a civil matter. Read the other post 3 above this.

First off, New England is known for cold & snowy winters so if you don't like that weather move. My wife & I bought a pellet stove at the end of May and ordered 4 tons of pellets from these dirt bags in early June. I guess I was lucky to get 2 tons but I had to pickup the second one myself after paying for delivery. I think the owners should rot in prison for taking advantage of the good & honest people who paid in advance for their pellets! The one thing I learn from this is to be more careful with whom I do business with. I won't let the next pellet company treat me like this one did. BTW, one of the owners is a correctional officer in CT lets hope he sees the other side of the bars?

These people should be in jail. The Lt who works for the CT correctional system should lose his job and pension....he is worse than most of the people in the jails where he worked. I only dealt with a female named Jen who was so rude......she told me dealing with the public (customers) is crazy with them wanting to know when they were getting their pellets....how they got a lot of nerve. They are all thieves and need to be prosecuted!!!!!!!

Man what a bunch of whining complainers. I'm sure it was all in good fun, and the owners who are fine, upstanding citizens will pay you back in payments, over 15 or 20 years. But so what? I think you are all just complainers whining over a couple of bucks.
WOW I didnt know that - I just realized that they charged my credit card 2x for one shipment---

We were also taken by this company. Purchased my 3 tons in May. Kept hearing we would get them in 2 weeks then told us they were delivering in the area. Finally got a delivery date of Nov 21 but that never happened. We now have filed a formal complaint with the Ct Attorney General. Dont know what good that will do to get heat this winter.

Yeah ,, if thats the same guy that i think it is ,he lives on Boston Neck Road in Suffield . He had an entire crew at his house ,working on his house all summer . I will try to get his address if you like . But don't do anything stupid ,that involves the police please , we need to be civil about this . .... On the other hand ,, I was wondering ,, can you burn corn kernals in the pellet stoves . Maybe there is a conversion kit that you can buy . I know that the corn stove that they sell at john deere store works great . Several friends have one . The corn is relatively cheap from the co-op ,or perhaps you know one of the town farmers .Two acres gets you through most of the winter ,at about 300 dollars an acre . The best thing about the corn burner is that it puts out very low emmissions.

I don't think anyone complained about his prices at the time, Nor did anyone see the shortage.I think that the MFGR had alot to do with this case and the greed from the MFGR, No that oil is down how come pellets haven't come down ?
