I am tired of all the I hate George Bush crybabies. He's no longer President so let's see if they can find a way to move forward. Barrack is President and his fist act was to cut terrorists a break.

I'm not sure that's the change America voted for.

Libs don't seem to get that these terrorists are NOT covered by the Geneva convention. They were fighting out of uniform

What war crimes, Scott? You mean the same war crimes they've been trying to pin on him for 4 years? Man, you are nuts.

Fighting out of uniform and behind the skirts of women or behind the bottles of babies. Terrorists are not human beings. If you can't remember, these are the animals that behead others in the name of God. They should be allowed to leave Gitmo, just no alive.

The people in Guantanamo are not terrorists. They are not criminals as recognized by any entity. They have not been convicted of any crime. THAT IS WHY THIS IS SUCH AN ISSUE.

How would you like to be swooped up in the middle of the night and sent to jail. Then when you ask your captors "why am I here?", "what crime did I commit", "can I see the evidence against me," they drown you and beat you. Then they take it back to their masters who spin it and use it to score cheap political points with people who don't understand "innocent until proven guilty" is a universal concept that transcends borders and allegiances.

Face it, Bush left office with the worst approval rating ever. His regime committed war crimes, treason, grew government by 40%, gave huge tax breaks (and deregulation) to wealthy individuals and companies, gave a green light to polluters, signed executive orders pumping millions into religious coffers, etc.,etc...

Condoning torture does not help our country or our troops. Bush ignored our constitution and he should pay for it.

Who said Obama was planning to release prisoners without a trial? In fact it was the Bush regime who released prisoners from Gitmo. He released "Said Ali al-Shihri" in 2007 and Shihri became an Al Qaeda leader in Yemen and he organized the deadly September bombing of the United States Embassy in Yemen’s capital. He was also involved in the September car bombings outside the American Embassy that killed 16 people.

We must have all 6 of the Rush Limbaugh listeners here today.

Bush and cheney wont even be able to ever leave the USA as they would be instantly picked up for war crimes by just about every western nation in the world.

You are right, any UN member nation will have no other choice than to arrest Bush, Cheney or Rumsfeld if they are in their country. They will be prompty arrested for war crimes against humanity.
