"As part of the extradition agreement that brought Cipriani back to the United States to face prosecution, he is able to request he serve the second half of his sentence in Italy, after 100 years."

See, he'll get to go back to Italy....what's he complaining about? Ha!

Someone told me that Judge Dewey is Italian American and understood every word this bum said during the trial and sentencing. He knew it and tried to tick her off. If that is true he will have a long time to consider how smart that was. In the meantime, in Italy he could have pasta every day, but in Somers wednesday is Prince spaghetti night. Buon appetito Bennie.

It's about time; good verdict. Too bad our judicial system will have to deal with numerous appeals. What a waste of taxpayers money.

Amen!!! Finally, this arrogant slob will remain in a U.S. prison for the rest of his days and not have the country club life I'm sure he would have had in an Italian prison. As a favorite term used by his own attorney "It's not rocket science" - he will never be free again. I pray that the families of his victims can finally start to heal. God Bless them.

Cipriani looks like he's eating too well in prison.

Well this is good for Shelly because now she can visit with him without having to fly to Italy. I wonder if they allow him conjugal visits?

Actually, sentencing him to death would cost taxpayers tons more $$ and this narcisscist would milk it for all it's worth. If he's sent back to Italy he would be released long, long before his sentence due to overcrowding there. This is a good sentence. Now lock him up and throw away the key. Let's hear nothing more about this SOB. I only want to hear how the families of the victims are doing.

I hope he enjoys his 100 years in Italy after he serves his first 100 years in the United States. Now they should go after the woman who set this whole thing up, as she hasn't been punished yet.
