Good for him, I have been taught to deal with this the same way he has shown his son. The person that needed to be arrested was the dogs owners. A dog will run a deer until it dies from a heart attack. What person in thier right mind would allow thier dogs to run in the woods during hunting season? Common sense!!!

I know John and his son they are caring and good people. He feeds his family and many others with the deer meat nothing goes to waste.

The dog owner definitely should not have had his dogs in the woods during deer season.I too know the Lake family and they are special, caring people and hunting, camping and fishing are their passions.

What kind of father teaches his son to shoot beagles? Innocent dogs....and I'm told this family even had one as a pet! Another sad punctuation to one of the things wrong with the use of guns in this country....by the wrong people. Whats the next lesson?.....shooting other hunters who interfere with YOUR hunt? Hunting is legal and has it's place. But obviously not by one who makes up his own rules,....and passes them on to the next generation. Very sad and very scary.

Good for him??? Really??? I fully support the right to hunt for food (not sport) and the right to gun ownership but feel strongly that so called 'good''special' and 'caring' people do not shoot innocent dogs in the woods unless they are being attacked. The dog was doing NOTHING to you personally - regardless of whether the dog's owner should or shouldn't have allowed his dogs to run in the area. That is not an issue for the dog - its an issue for the owner. Be a man and take it up with the owner instead of a coward that shoots an innocent animal and then tries to cover his tracks. Pathetic

Hunting innocent animals is for child molestors and people with little dicks,... now shooting dogs and blaming the owners is for that special breed of subhuman scum. They should get their guns and hunting permits taken away. These people obviously have mental health issues--the shitty son too.
