Sounds like security cameras are needed.

Very interesting. For something going on
three years, why would it take that long for
them to start investigating. Just curious.

Wouldn't it be nice to think that they would REALLY be punished by the judicial system. Far to much to hope for in these times.

I hope that these ignorant people aren't able to collect a dime from unemployment because they deserve what they get.

Throw the book at these thieves. They are not drug dependent, they stole things just for profit. There are people who can replace these individuals. Hopefully, the items stolen can be reunited with the owners.

Petty theft is, sadly, common among baggage handlers. It wasn't until 2008, when the 5 flat screens were reported stolen by AT&T, that a task force was formed. The information about the 2006 thefts was obtained in a statement from one of the thieves.

how did they get all those large items out of the airport without others not knowing.. Lets see, baggage worker comes to work with lunchbox, on the way home he needs a truck to take home the large screen t v or african wood carvings. no wonder people fight to keep their oversized bags as carry ons

Makes one wonder how secure the airport is from terrorists.

good for the State Police to follow up on these complaints.... normally it would be a low priority.... it sends a message to the rest of the baggage handlers it won't be tolerated.......

No wonder it takes so long to get your luggage at Bradley. While passengers wait, their property is being stolen.

This is a horrible security problem. If they can take something out, they could just as easily put something in, like a bomb.

If you're fired for felonious conduct, you're not elgible to collect. If you're just plain incompetent, you can.

Nahh, wouldn't work. They'd just include the guy watching the cameras in the scheme.

The lesson to be learned is - don't bring anything of any value on an airplane. Too bad really.
