Been there twice so far. Will definitely go back. Good food for the price. Home cooking and they give plenty. Breakfast served all day. It's where the old Jolly Jacks Drive-in used to be when we were growing up. Previous to this diner this property had a Chinese Restaurant. Don't expect fancy. It is afterall called a diner. I think it will give Papermill Place some competition especially since it is open 24 hours 7 days a week.

VALLEY AVE DINER IS FILTHY DISGUSTING. THE ONLY PLUS WAS OUR WAITRESS SANDY THE RED HAIR GIRL. THE FOOD WAS AWFUL. WE WILL NEVER RETURN AND WE WILL BE TELLING ALL OUR FRIENDS. THE COOKS COME OUT OF THE KITCHEN WITH FILTHY APRONS AND NOT TO MEN
TION THEIR 13 YEAR OLD SON IS IN THE BACK COOKING.

Tried Valley Avenue Diner two more times and was very disappointed both times. Got the spaghetti the last try and it tasted like the sauce had burned to the bottom of the pan. Probably will not go back again.

Went there once. Nothing special. When is Winchester going to get something new and exciting?
They claim to be a tourist town .I am proud of our history but, the food is really getting old. There is so much more in the world of cuisine than just eggs, bacon, burgers and.

To Robin on your comment. What do you expect from a foreigner who opened what he thinks is an American Diner?

New in the area heard about the new dinner read the reviews thought we would judge it ourselves ( as I would suggesete everyone else to )it was very nice enviorment exellent food clean place and very nice waitress'es again dont judge places before you try it out yourself.I think people should give new places in the area a chance before they judge them I hear a grand opening is coming up soon Should be a perfect time to see for yourself defintly going back.

My husband and I tried the restaurant on Saturday. 1-28. We were very disappointed in the food and the service. We ordered and omelet and it was actually burnt. No cheese, potatoes were cold. Had to wait forever for refill on coffee. Some folks that I work with have been there and they too did not have alot of good comments. I hate that this was the case as it very close to my house and would have been very convenient is we wanted to grab something to eat. Just my 2 cents!!
