Winchester Star reports that "Dr. Marianne Parham Matthews, who formerly practiced at 878 Fox Drive with Winchester Anesthesiologists Inc., had her license suspended in June 2009 after it was reported that she "diverted" morphine for personal use while performing a carotid endarterectomy - a procedure to remove harmful plaque from the arteries"........let's think about that. You are undergoing a dangerous painful procedure and a doctor who is supposed to keep you comfortable and free of pain decides to steal your morphine. Now she has her license back. We're not talking about a truck driver getting his driver's license back. This is a doctor you need to have faith in and trust.
