Why was Marcus Wade's Murder Indictment Dismissed?

Marcus Wade was indicted Last Summer for 1st degree murder and the case was dismissed without prejudice on November 16th in Franklin County Circuit Court.

When he was arrested last winter, for a 10-year-old murder at the Cabin, Winchester Police said they had an open and shut case. Well, a shut case could be a better explanation.

Funny thing was that none of the media reported the case being thrown out. In fact, no one in the media leaned of it until WCDT stumbled across it a few weeks ago when Wade applied for credits for early release from prison on a drug conviction.

Even without the credits, Wade should be released in a few months. Makes you feel more secure that a murderer walks among you. Maybe he can have a booth at the County Fair, Shake hands with a murderer.

Heard that on the radio a while back. I think the public needs to know the reason for dismissal. Seems like the courts are turning them loose faster than law enforcement can arrest them!!
Maybe the H/C will explain in detail!!

He has been a drug and gun informent over the last 6 years. He is calling in all his favors because no one does get a fair trial in franklin county.

How can he have been a drug and gun informent over he past six years from a cell in the State Penn? Beside, you're talking about a first-degree murder rap. You're not suppose to buy your way out oft that. Something smells fishy.

Maybe he was innocent? That seems like a reasonable assumption.

It was my understanding that the DRUG charges were dismissed without prejudice (which means the charges can be brought back up) but NOT the murder charges. Prehaps I am wrong, but that's the way I understood it...

Read the over 2 year old post above. Says a lot about our DA and the court system. This guy should not be allowed on the streets!!

a fed agent says the drugcharges against Marcus were dropped so he could be tried for murder, If he's found not guilty, the federal drug charges can be brought back. Either way, Murcus will never see the light iof day as a free man.
