The town of Tewksbury is lucky to get Montouri. Billerica loved him and wished he came back here.

Good Luck Rich!!

Montuori is a BIG time tax and spender. He was given a free rein in Billerica and taxed to the max every year. No one in Billerica stopped him. Hopefully has a strong FinCom and Board of Selectmen to keep him under control.

Get over it. Montouri built a school and new water treatment plant without an over-ride.

He lived within the budget and turned a well managed town over to the next Town Manager!

Hey Montuori lapdog: The School Superintendent built the Ditson within HIS budget. As for your boy, Montuori, he paid for the bonds for the water treatment plant in budget because he was taxing to the max. There wasn't a project he didn't like and his lapdogs on the FinCom and Board of Selectmen gave him free rein. You watch him in Tewksbury, he'll spend to the max. You better hope Tewksbury has FinCom members with backbone and Selectmen that will control him.

This year is going to be difficult," he said. "I think there are some things that have been let go over time that we need to get back to, but that may not happen this year."
After OLD MAN KELLEY GOD knows what that old fool has gotten us into!!

Teabagger,

You better check your facts. The Town Manager, Town Meeting and Selectmen are resposible for ALL budgets and Debt service. the School Superintendent takes the money the Town Manager allocates with the vote of Town Meeting.

The BOS MUST sign ALL the Bonds (including schools) and the Town Manager gives the schools money to pay for them. That is the LAW. The Schools have very little money of their own, some from the rink and some from the cafeterias, short money. The schools were able to build the Ditson within budget because of Montouri.

Now I don't know why you have such distane for Montouri, but maybe you can list the Towns that have not gone for an over-ride for Capital Budgets. Especially when borrowing almost $45 million in 5 years for a new school and water treatment plant, to say nothing about the miles of sewers put in the street without an over-ride.

Certainly not Tewksbury. Chelmsford, Bedford, Concord or whatever.

You are giving the teabaggers a bad name, so just leave good enough alone, your in a small boat in a big ocean.
Thank The Lord

One more thing, look at the great town of Chelmsford.

They want to buy a new DPW facility for $5 million, they need a debt exclusion to bond $5 million. That is outrageous.

Montouri built a school, built a new water treatment plant and put miles of sewer in the street. That cost almost $50 million without an over-ride. Which project would you like to take back, and maybe the town wouldn't have taxed to the max..

God some people have no clue!!

Montuori spent, spent, spent. Look at how much taxes rose under him. Tewksbury will be in for quite a ride with him.
