I know I haven't been on here much in the past couple of months, but wanted to say hi and see what everyone's New Years plans are. Any New Years resolutions?

No real plans on this end - too broke as a joke from Christmas. I'm thinking parking my fat butt and watching the college football extravaganza on NYD, then exercising said fat butt for part 2 of my fitness program (part one concluded right about Thanksgiving...handy how that works)

What about your special birthday cake I make you? That will result in additional fat butt.

You mean my favorite one, the Black Forest Cake that violates KY's open container laws? That one? I'm looking forward to that, too, of course!

I have a resolution. It is to stop procrastinating. I have gotten so bad that I have done the task at hand, 3 or 4 times in my mind before I actually physically do it.

I'm going to loose weight. I'm digusted with myself. Turned 50 use to be in good shape ex marine and I've gotten fat. Need to loose at least 40. Is weight watchers the best to do or just go on a 1200 calorie diet and rough it.

For me just watching the fat and calories, avoiding fast food like the plaque and the elliptical trainer does the trick. I'm mid-forties and its definitely harder to lose weight as you age.

I only make one and it is the same every year. To be the best wife, sister, daughter, friend and christian that I can be. I am not perfect and will fall short, but with God's help I will do the best I can.
