Hey New mom I work at CRMC and the reason the baby pics aren't on the web is that the server that provides the nursery site is down. Sorry about the horrible inconvience but you can see baby pics on the growing family website (they are the company that takes the actual hospital pictures that you purchase)

hey news, thanks for letting me and the others out there who are having this problem know of this..(whats the link to the site)..the hospital hasn't told me anything...and i just learned the other day that they didnt even order my son's SS card the way they said they would. this is nothing towards you personally but i hate that hospital....well if the whole hospital is run the way the nursery is then i hate it. Since i had my son i now go to lexington and i shouldnt have to travel just to go to a good hospital.

I had two children at Clark Regional and if I ever have another I will be there again. When you speak of having to go to Lexington to go to a good hospital you fail to mention the Hospital we have right there in town in Mt Sterling. Other than giving birth twice at the hospital my youngest just had a minor surgery there as well. I have to say that the care we have been given on each trip has been immaculate. I for one have much trust in that hospital!!!

Everyone is intitled to their own opinion. I have mine. I think the care that is given at Clark Regional is wonderful. They take time to personally get to know their patients and offer care accordingly.

I do understand that everyone has their own opinion and thats fine with me...but i know everytime i have had to go there it was hell....the ER is always full, i had to take a family member just the other day and they said it was going to be 2-3 hours before he could be seen....i said hell with that we went to lexington. Like i said before my problems was mainly the baby unit but now im really starting to see that its the whole hospital. i'm sorry if what im saying is/has hurt or bothered anyone but that just how i feel.

I thought pictures were made of my new born, and on the day i was discharged, i ask when I would be receiving them, they finally come back and said the camera was not working, or needed batteries--the bottom line there was not any taken period......a moment i can never get back, and no excuse for this to happen, they had 3 days to get it together!!

The reason the ER is so full and the wait is so long is because of all the pill heads and drug addicts looking for their fix. I honestly doubt you got into any Lexington hospital any faster. The hospital is fine, but your attitude definately needs some adjusting. How would you like to have a job doing what they have to and putting up with people with your attitude?

I work at the Winchester Fire Department and have transported people to many Emergency Rooms. One of this biggest reasons the ER's are so full is that people dont attemtp to get a family physician and go to them for their sneeze and sniffles. The ER is very abused. People are seen and triaged or categorized by severity of sickness. A chest pain will be seen over a patient with a cold. This ER at Clark is very busy due to abuse. The ER sees patients from several counties which adds to its volume. Everyone there from what i have seen gives 110% towards their patients. They have comparable wait times to the Lexington Hospitals. Many of the ER doctors have been residents at UK as well as one being an Attending MD. This is big to have these credentials. Part of the slowdown with people waiting is the facility cannot handle many patients with severe cardiac or Neurological problems and must be transported to the specialists in Lexington. They are treated accordingly and transferred by our service. My family as well as myself have been seen and treating there and will unfortunately probably have to go again one day. Give them a chance. Put yourself in their shoes and deal with 14 beds with 14 more waiting. They are trying to help you. They all do the job because they chose to heal people.

I just have some questions and NEED insight from some people that have been there before. If you would like to e-mail me my address is [email protected]
THANK YOU SO MUCH!

If you are a expecting mother, DO NOT GO TO CRMC! The nurses are terrible and sit in there little rooms and gossip more than they work. Boy could I tell some stories.... I have nothing but good things to say about ST. Joseph East. My son was born there and my wife had surgery there and were taken very good care of.

I had my daughter there 8 years ago, and it was a great experience. They took very good care of us both. The thing I really liked was that they don't wake you up to take your vitals at night if you had a normal delivery. I have had friends who had their baby's in Lex who said they never slept because some nurse was always waking them up. For me, it was hard enough to get to sleep, since I had never been in the hospital before. The nurses were very sweet. One of them even came in the next day (her day off)to see my baby because her shift was over before she was born. I don't know what it is like now, but in 2000, it was great!

I agree...If people would go to their doctor for the minor things, and stop trying to go to get pain meds..It is called EMERGENCY ROOM for a reason. I have had several experences through the ER with my husband who is waiting on a liver. I appreciate everything that the paramedics and the Staff have given to us.
