Where can one get a prescription filled from Dryridge Wellness Center in Grant Co...........I guess with all the illegal stuff going on with people getting pain meds prescribed who don't really need them all the pharmacies are cracking down...

You're having trouble because you got pills at a "clinic" that was raided last year, the doctor has been run out of Ohio and Indiana already, and you live far away from where you get treatment. There are good clinics in Lexington, why are you traveling to Grant County to a facility that's a well known pill mill?

The neurologist that reviewed my MRI referred me to a place in Lexington .... When they called to set up my appointment they said be prepared for an injection when I came ..... I HAVE A BAD FEAR OF NEEDLES..... and do not want a needle anywhere near my back ..... Too risky them missing sumthing ..... So I didn't go ..... Thinking of going back to neurologist for a different referral ..... And I'm not a pill seeker .... Just really have alotta pain in lower back ....

The doctor is a drug dealer, google it. If you're not addicted to opiates, don't start it. I promise you the pain you'll have when you become dependent on them and can't supply yourself through a doctor, as well as the withdrawal, aren't worth it. I'm so serious. Take 800 Ibuprofen, do therapy, anything but pills.

No one will fill scripts from the doctors there because they know what they're doing and why people go there.

I agree with ref, take Aleve or ibuprofin. Your body gets hooked on pills way to easily. Don't do it to your self.

It is called an Epidural steroid injection. I had two of them about a month apart when I was so bad. They are good. But they will be uncomfortable. But the relief you get by the next day is well worth being uncomfortable. I too had a fear of needles. I am not going to lie the needle is a big one but my doctor was good about not letting me see it until after I had the first injection. If you are in a lot of pain, you won't even feel the first one, I didn't. It was the second one that I felt.
I wouldn't hestitate to do it again if needed. Thank goodness my back settled down and I never did need anything stronger than a round of tramdol. Now ten years later I don't need anything but over the counter meds. My advice is don't take the oc's as they are extremely addictive and the withdrawl is awful. Not only that you are just setting yourself up to be robbed and/or killed for the meds. Don't think the local junkies wont know you have them for they will. Trust me.
