Heard there was some kind of outbreak there this week and people were wearing masks. Does anyone have any idea what's going on and why they won't say what it is? That place always has some trouble going on.

This is place is owned by one of the largest healthcare organizations based is Louisville. It will never be closed down. They will do what ever IT TAKES to keep it open.

I would volunteer to enter that place as a resident under cover to expose every wrongdoer in that facility.
I know it can be done just as I know that wrong takes place there daily.

I am a nurse and I am here to tell you that any healthcare facility ANYWHERE is germ-ridden. Thats just a fact. Doesnt mean its a bad place. Hospitals, nursing homes, doctors office, all of them are the dirtiest places you can go as far as germs go. Go to the hospital and have surgery, and if you get an infection, its most likely because you acquired it there. Wearing face masks is just one way facilities try to limit the spread of infection, its standard everywhere when there is an airborne infection present. Its the same no matter where you go. If it is a facility that cares for anyone who could possibly be sick, then its filthy, even if it looks clean. That is just the way it is. When I was working, I would come home and leave my shoes on the porch, and pt my clothes straight into the washer and myself straight into the shower.

I'll skip the mask. I have something special for people that mistreat the elderly or disabled.

Working in a nursing home is a very hard job.it takes a special person to do it.I admit not everyone should be doing this kind of work, but at the same time no one should be putting fchr down! Their are people that work there that do love and care for the residents on a daily bases! It is their home and these employees are all some residents have! They look forward to seeing thyem.I know that some people that work there are probably not exactly the perfect person, but don't put fountain circle down! Some people do take pride in their work and do provide the appropriate care and the emotional support that their families can't give! If these families were not satisfied with the care given ,then they need to take their family member home and care for them ,themselves! No one wants to be placed in a nursing home.we don't work hard all our lives and then think ,oh I want to go to a nursing home! Alot of these residents have worked hard for what they have and circumstances beyond any ones control has happened to them!if u asked the residents they would say I'm glad ur taking care of me,bc my family can't. Things aren't always what they seem!so for anyone who puts fchr down shame on u!!! These people are loved and cared for,by people that love and want to care for them. Again no ones perfect but no one is taken for granted! There will be a star in the crown of the employees that do ,do their job of providing care for these special residents!life's not easy but u make the best of the circumstance! It doesn't matter what u think or say ,it only matters what is the truth!!!

Sure thing. Every time they get too many bad surveys and face closing they put it up for sale. When sold and the name changes it wipes the slate clean and they can start all over providing way under standard care.

If the Fountain is for sale, I am curious as to who would buy it. The hospital maybe or Clark County. Then it will be locally owned?

I am astounded at the simplicity of some minds. ever consider it takes one stupid visitor to cough on grandma, who coughs on her room mate, and they cough on the nurses and cna's...get the picture? the only thing to do is wear masks, clean with bleach, and wait it out. or would you prefer everyone from cna's to administration just call off a week and hope everyone is still alive when they come back?

How does one enter to expose the wrong doing I'm interested in doing such like how do I need to document it and who do I need to tell?
