<quoted text>Why don't the Repubs remember the 700,000 per month job losses before Obama. As far as unemployment numbers from 1929 to 1941 the rate was over 10% and got as high as 23%

The BLS is not saying the unemployment rate NEVER went over 8%. What they are saying is:

"Over the course of 50 years, the unemployment rate in the United States was above 8 percent for a total of 3 years and 3 months; under Obama alone, the rate has been above 8 percent for 3 years and 7 months."

"Also, no other president presided over three consecutive years of average annual unemployment of more than 8 percent before Obama, according to the BLS data."

Exactly! The Ds voted the Big O into office and we got the worst president in the history of the United States of America. We'll take our chances on the Big R this time. But don't be so sad Freddy Freelaoder...Obama will go down in history as the president with the best makeup and hair on late night television and he gets the Hollywood narcissist award for his many visits to The View.

Not all is lost though. Remember that Obama killed Bin Laden and won the respect of everyone...especially the Middle East and the terrorist groups in the world. The riots and mobs and the terrorist murders and the unrest in the Middle East and all the US flag burnings and terror in the streets over there...are just "bumps in the road" according to the Big O. I'm pretty sure that will also go down in the history books in the chapter of "Just how big of a failure was he".

I personally believe one of the major downfalls to our society is the sense of entitlement that is so prevalent in our society today. The belief that just because they are a citizen, it entitles them to what they want, whether it is a job, a house, a credit card or welfare.

Recently Vice President Joe Biden attempted to drag morality into the issue of taxing the wealthy. I am not among the wealthy but I do have to wonder, am I entitled to receive what others have worked hard for? If I were wealthy would that mean I am immoral for not allowing myself to be taxed to death?

Raising taxes on the wealthy, in my opinion, is yet another attempt to grasp that sense of entitlement we have in America. We can’t force the rich to give out of the abundance of what they have. It is their choice. Some do and some don’t but who am I to call them immoral if they don’t?

We have young Americans who feel entitled to get that expensive education they can’t afford or families who feel entitled to live better than the Jones’s so they rack up their credit cards. Teenagers who feel entitled to work someplace “better” than McDonalds. Those who make a career of receiving government benefits and pass this mindset onto their children. Those who purchased that home they could not afford. These are all mindsets which have infiltrated our country and have no place here.

None of these people came into the world with an entitlement attitude. Slowly, with the help of parents, government and society, entitlement attitudes have blossomed into full-blown economic and personal disasters.

What happened to the concept of working hard, living within your means, and saving for the future?

You can't work hard if there are no jobs so government aid/dependency becomes your way of life. You are now in between that Proverbial rock and a hard place. You can't afford to bite the hand that feeds you. That is why Obama has never been too concerned with 45 months of high unemployment on his watch.

We should live within our means but Obama and the other crooks on the Hill setting the example that we don't have to live within our means. Spend, spend, spend and then print more money, borrow from China and make sure there is no balanced budget for our country to have to go by...thanks to Harry Reid, Senate Majority Leader and Crook. It doesn't matter how much you save. Bernanke is getting ready to print more money and purchase heavily to ensure Obama's re-election bid. Your savings will be worth nothing and you will get 0% interest on your savings. The value of the dollar will dip even more and there will be a stock bubble and all hail the Obama!!!

And so is Obama...wealthy and entitled. He doesn't give to any churches but he sure will spend time in the front pew listening to his mentor and good buddy reverend Wright start every sermon with God Damn America. Did you have a point or were you trying to distort and distract and deceive like a good little democRAT? LOL

Wingnuz idiocy! Who exactly are "those people"?
Thanks for your rightwing fantasies; it sounds a lot like a forest full of yakking monkeys.
Perhaps Romney can figure out a way to make the 47%ers ‘self-deport’?! But let us not forget the four-letter word that got us into this bloody mess in the first place. According to the egg-heads and number-crunchers the recession ended June 11, 2009 (thanks to federal monetary policy)– trouble is, the Bush recession will not be over until it’s over until the American people think it’s over! In spite of the GOPer’s massive effort to derail the ‘Kenyan Muslim’ in the White House!

I bet if you asked Obama the first and last names of every host on the View he could tell you without hesitation. If you asked Obama to name 4 songs by Beyonce and Jay Z he could name those songs correctly with no hesitation. If you asked Obama how many times he has been on David Letterman and what the viewer ratings were for each of those appearances he could answer arrogantly and correctly without hesitation. If you asked Obama the names of the four Americans murdered by terrorist in Libya on September 11th, 2012...he wouldn't know unless the names were on the teleprompter in front of him.

I will NEVER vote for Barack Hussein Obama and this is one of the many reasons why.

You are actually the one who sounds like a "yakking monkey". It is all true and you know it!

Revolving Consumer Credit Outstanding -$953.1 billion

Americans added $18.4 billion to their debt load in the second quarter, a 66% increase from the debt they accumulated in the same quarter last year and 368% more than they tacked on in 2009, according to credit card research firm CardHub.com .

Residential Mortgage Debt Outstanding:$14.64 trillion

There was a time in this country when those people wishing to purchase a new home would save their money until they had enough for a down payment. Then they would ensure that they could afford the monthly mortgage payment and, if so, would go ahead with the deal. Now, it seems, that people just went ahead and bought homes that, apparently, they could not afford and as a result, as per their mortgage agreement, the banks foreclosed.

Student Loan Debt Outstanding -$556 billion

Revolving Home Equity Credit -$577.8 billion

If you're supposed to be going out with lots of people you might be tempted to make your excuses, simply because you can't face all that hubbub and noise.
