This isn't some radio call-in show or a medical advice program. Sorry to hearabout your problem but I doubt ANY doctor would just give free advice on this forum.

Do the right thing. Make an appointment to see your doctor. PAY them for their time. It's their job to meet with you...in private. That's how they support their families.

Oh PLEASE!

Do you not think anyone can just respond to your question pretending to be the dr. Come on, get real. Make a real appointment with a real dr and discuss your personal issues in person.

Doesn't sound like you have much common sense. I would leave my tubes tied if I were you!

The front desk has done an all about turn around although the girl with the brown hair that works up front should be careful when making comments to her spouse or boyfriend about being reported for being rude because not just anyone appreciates her humor .Just like the comment today she made they haven't seen rude yet. She should have realized the old woman at the other window didn't think it was cute on her. Guess people over 50 don't read whats going on n Topix, huh? But that kind of shows you what kind of real attitude they have. Thanks Dr. Alvarado for at least making an attempt to getting them to smile and making a day that's not always so pleasurable a little better at least the one's that really can't change can pretend. Back part of your office is so sweet and sincere just seems like an odd fit.We really all do like the change .Your patients are noticing it.

I used to go there but him and my husband had a disagreement so we both switched. If I remember right, he took him off work for 5 days but wouldn't give him the extra half a day so he could get paid for it. Maybe he only needed to be off five days but the rule at his work was 5 1/2 days. He lossed a whole weeks pay because he was sick. Oh well, he lost us as patients!!

I am so saddened to hear about your experience at our office recently. Patients often assume that we "know what is going on with our front staff." However, as physicians we are busy seeing our patients, ordering tests, talking on the phone with hospitals and other medical providers for hours upon hours every day. We try to provide excellence in our medical care. This devotion makes it very difficult for us to directly supervise what is going on with our front office staff at all times. We rely on our patients to provide us the feedback regarding problems like the one you have had.
I am sad that you had to resort to a public website to vent this problem, but I can assure you that your comments have made it into the hands of our office manager and the problem will be addressed. I urge you, please, if a problem like this occurs again in the future, let one of the providers or our office manager, Crystal, know about it. We are very sensitive to our patient's needs and we like to address staff issues like this one, as quickly as possible.
We know that we are not perfect, but we strive to provide great medical care in a comfortable setting. Thank you for your feedback. The problem will be addressed.
I have been in his office several times and the office staff at the window has been very rude. I cant say anything for Dr. Alverado himself but I think that it was very big of him to respond the way he did to this forum. I said I would never be a patient at his office because of the way his staff are at the front window. I have worked fro several doctors offices and i know that things do not always goes as planned as far as time. Things happen and all patients should be traeted the same and get the same care, but when the staff makes all aware of what is going on and if there are delays it does help. You are in the eye of the public working with a doctors office and if you cant keep a professional manner then maybe you should find a different job. The doctors reflection comes from the office staff just as well as they way they treat their patients them selves. No one wants to go to a office where the front staff are rude!

I know this office and know how things work there, they do not just hand out drugs, they are carefull and how are they suppose to know who is selling them, theres no way, so you need to back off. They perform drug screens to make sure the drugs they prescribe are in there system, you cant just go in there and say you have a headache and get a narcotic. Plus there are ways to make sure there office is the only one prescribing narcotics to a patient, so you need to get a grip and quit blaming the offices for the drug problems, its the patients who sell them who are to blame, you need to call the police dept. in your area. People who do have chronic problems who have pain all the time need these medications, but we cant control what a few bad apples do!
