I recently saw where someone wrote about a doctors office and how the women in the office treated people, well winchester medical also has a blond headed lady sitting at there check out window and she is just absolutly nasty acted as though i was comletely wasting her time checking out of the office i tried really hard to be really nice to her when she started with this attitude but she continued to act this way. The doctors and nurses there are all nice its just her why do these doctors offices allow their staff to act like this if they are that annoyed by the public then find another job. I know the public can be hard to deal with at times but i gave her absolutly no reason to be this way everything she needed to do for me was completly routine. I find it hard to beleive that people can be that nasty on a regular basis and the doctors dont know its going on and there are plenty of people needing jobs now so they need to put a stop to it.

I so agree with you!! I know the lady you are talking about. I took my child in to walk in at about 5:20 one day to be seen. The office closes at 6. The lady was so rude and acted as though I had just messed up her whole day and she was gonna have to work a little harder or longer.

I really don't think I should have been treated like that because they take patients up until 6pm... The woman is just rude.

And by the way, the other topic was about Ertels office and the office COW there is awful rude to the customers... She really needs to give up her spot in public relations... She is horrible!!

I am so saddened to hear about your experience at our office recently. Patients often assume that we "know what is going on with our front staff." However, as physicians we are busy seeing our patients, ordering tests, talking on the phone with hospitals and other medical providers for hours upon hours every day. We try to provide excellence in our medical care. This devotion makes it very difficult for us to directly supervise what is going on with our front office staff at all times. We rely on our patients to provide us the feedback regarding problems like the one you have had.

I am sad that you had to resort to a public website to vent this problem, but I can assure you that your comments have made it into the hands of our office manager and the problem will be addressed. I urge you, please, if a problem like this occurs again in the future, let one of the providers or our office manager, Crystal, know about it. We are very sensitive to our patient's needs and we like to address staff issues like this one, as quickly as possible.

We know that we are not perfect, but we strive to provide great medical care in a comfortable setting. Thank you for your feedback. The problem will be addressed.

Dr. Alvarado you have the best office in town. I will never see anyone but you or Dr. Bradburn. Your staff has always been nothing but professional to me. Thanks for everything you do.

I totally agree with Dr.Alvarado. As a former employee I know that as busy as the practice is the physicians can not be aware of everything that goes on. If you have a problem with the office, you can always call and speak with the Practice Manager, and I am sure she would be more than happy to assist you with the issue.

I think that there has to be more than just a couple to complain. I am sure there are many but they don't want to come forward.

I was also a patient at Dr.Ertels and when my children and I first started going there the recept. was very nasty to us. I DID adress this with Brenda and nothing was ever said or done about it. I was very surprised to recieve a letter in the mail telling me that we (all) had been dimissed from their pratice)I called and was told they could no longer see me or the kids because I had been disrupted in the waiting room... LIE!! S#$^a lied and the dr's never even asked me about anything. I hate that she was able to do that to me and my family, we really liked the dr's there and no problem with anyone else. I like Alvarado's office, but there is the one blonde that also made us feel uneasy as well. I just kinda felt that if I said anything that it too would be dimissed.

That would not be the case @ all. The practice manager takes each patient's concerns very seriously, and she would defintely address the problem.

Well, I cannot speak for Ertel and his crew. Some practices may care more about money than the care they provide. I have read a few threads on this website about other offices.

As far as my office goes, we take the complaints seriously. Crystal often brings the problems to the doctors' attention and it is addressed in staff meetings.

When it occurs, you may be fuming. It is never a good idea to voice a concern when you are really mad, because you may say something you regret in the heat of the moment. I would encourage you to just keep your cool and call back the following day between 9 and 4:30 and ask for Crystal. She'll take note of your complaint and address it. We've had cases in which a patient will complain about something, but find out later that there was more to the story. Either way, the staff is reminded of what we expect from their demeanor.

Now, if a patient blows their top, curses, insults the staff, threatens us physically or with a bunch of lawsuits, odds are we are going to let that person go from the practice. But, legitimate complaints are always welcome. If we don't get the feedback, we are not able to improve.

How many who post on here are check drawers? Get off your lazy ass and go to work and quit trying to beat the system you lazy skanks. You check drawers think you deserve special treatment by everybody because you have a medical card. I can understand if you really needed it but most of you don't. My advise to you would be keep your pie hole shut and GET A JOB.

I have been a patient at Winchester Medical associates since the doors has been open and i have never had a complaint what so ever. I am always treated in a very professional manner. To Me, Dr.Alvarado is nothing but class! His office manager is classy who i know cares very deeply about the practice. I have seen the nurse practioners over the years and they seemed like they care about their patients. If it wasn't for Dr.Alvarado i probable wouldn't be alive right now, so i am very thankful that Winchester Medical Associates came to Winchester. Dr. Alvarado and staff, i know you will never make everyone happy but always know many people appreciate you more than you will ever know.

I love Winchester Medical Associates, what I did say is that there was one lady that was hateful. Usually when she is there it is later in the day. But, I really love the rest of the staff, they are always good to me and the kids.

For one, this has nothing to do about drawing a check or having a medical card! What is your problem? We have every right to tell the way we feel we have been treated.

And, just because we voice our self doesn't mean that we don't have jobs. You never know, I could make 3 times more than you. That isn't even the point, the point is that somebody was rude and you should not be on here judging us because we say it. So why don't you just go back to work and stop being nasty.

It sounds as though i am not the only one who has noticed this. This is a problem with this one lady and not the whole staff which is what i said in my original post. Dr. Alvarado i agree with you maybe this is not the best place to air this and i am sorry for any bad attention this has brought but i was really upset that she sets in that office and treats people the way she does and i did fear that complaining in person would cause my family to not be able to be seen there and i would have never made a seen in your office by being nasty back to her thats not my style.
I was totally satisfied with every other aspect of care that has been provided there with the exception of her and she is the last impression of your office and i dont think you want that going on.
And to reply to the person about the medical card remark just so you know my husband and i are both very hard working people who have good insurance and always pay our bills so being treated like that by someone you are paying is unacceptable.
Good jobs are hard to come by and this women needs to take hers more serious and realize she is representing that office when setting behind that desk.
Dr. Alvarado i beleive you when you say you will handle this problem. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!

I ditto that. If these two people have both been past patients of Dr. Ertle's office and now Dr. alvarado's office and they both are complaining of SAME PROBLEM, what does that tell ya? I think some people just want to vent on a public forum to be noticed.

From reading some of your post, I would HOPE you did not come to my DR.'s office I would pray you went somewhere else. I work in the public, and beleive me, people like you miserable threesome are noticed alright!! You forget that doctors, and medical staff are also human. The best way to deal with your kind is to kiss your butts and take your crap, that is the only thing that makes you happy! So kiss kiss....

It is freedom of speech to let someone vent. If the lady felt like it was best to vent annonymously then let her. She didn't put down the doctor's nor the way they practice medicine. She always commended them on this area. She commented on the way she was treated by the reception staff which do leave a lot to be desired. I am a patient there and for the most of it really love the doctor's an the nursing staff but I must agree some of the ladies I have come incontact with behind the little glass window leave a lot to be desired in the customer service part of their job. Dr. Alvarado and Dr. Bradburn good job. To the ARPN's again good job and to the nurses good job well done all and happy holidays. I find you very caring. I don't like being left on hold for 10 or 15 minutes when calling to get an appointment or when checking on test results I try to be very patient as I know the staff is busy. I wonder though about the lady answering the phone sometimes as she did answer really quickly and might not have heard my "no" I can't hold before she put me on hold and after sitting there for about 10 minutes ( i did time this as i was on break at work ) I had to resort in disconnecting the call. The front staff does sometimes leave a lot to be desired but over all they wouldn't make me stop coming there as I like the doctors. Thanks to Dr. Alvarado's words above the next time I have a problem with the way they treat me up front I will let my doctor know!
