Im thinking about buy a car for my son at Staton Auto, if anybody has done business or bought there how was it? Is it a good place to buy a used vehicle?

I was looking at a black chevy truck there and decided no to buy it. Glad I didn't because come to find out my friend's son turned it in because the transmission (according to him) is going out of it. Whether Staton knows about this or not I don't know but I would be very careful about what I buy there...oh and have $1000 ready for a down payment, that is required for every vehicle.
Good Luck
P.S. All other car lots of that nature (buy here, pay here/approved credit) require the $1000 down payment.

I meant to also say that the people there seemed nice, especially the owner. I guess you have to be though to run a business.

I've done business with him before and I would have to say he done me right. I've got three cars and trucks from there and loved everyone of them. Den. Staton is a pretty good guy and he'll do you right. So yes you should buy from there and tell him Tim Everman sent you.

dont do it. huge monthly payment. over priced vehicles. my first one blew so i had him give me another car at a discount. it took me 600 dollars to get it runnin right. so wtf. he polishes em up real nice. armoralls the hell out of them and sells them for twice what they are worth. my friend just turned a car in there that he broke both the axels on and mid air 360 with a shitty engine. do the math
go for it

yea man come on lol wow...are u really dumb enough to buy something such as a car at a cheap place like that? a vehicle is something u need to depend on. and with so many things that can go wrong with one, well if u go cheap u always get what u pay for. do not ever ever buy from a buy here pay here lot. anyone should know better. why not jsut go get a nice used car fro ma real dealership and have it last for a long time instead of a couple weeks? now some of u may say, well bc u dont have good credit and buy here pay here is all that will sell u one. well, my only advice would be u should have paid your bills on time your whole life and u would have good credit. but anyway, just remember...u get what u pay for.

well i asked because my son is a teenager, and i dont want to buy him a brand new car, and i dont want to spend and arm and a leg, i figured something cheap, if it runs good, would serve his purpose, he can buy a brand new car once he gets out of high school and college, i myself just bought a brand new car from a new car dealership, im just trying to help my son out without going into debt for 4 or 5 years

yea i totally understand that. but i didnt mean a brand new one. heck i even cant afford that lol. i meant a used one...but just not from a junkie cheap ass place like a buy here pay here. the good dealerships have used car sections. its cool what ur trying to do, but its better to have one thats dependable and runs rather than ur son having to work on it every other weekend. plus if hes working, buy him a good used one and let him make the payments. put his name on it also and it will help him establish credit also.

They've always been really good, from what I've heard. My sister got a car from him, and it ran for years. And my neighbor has bought his past 6 from there, and he's never had a problem. Whoever said the payments were high is crazy. And he'll work with you...like if you can't make a payment one week, he'll let you make it up.
And if some of you guys are worried about buying a car that you have to fix every weekend, that's the reason that you're supposed to get a mechanic to look at the car before you buy it.

I just wanted to say I have bought 2 cars from denise staton and they have got the job done I have had to get little things fixed which is to be expected but my payment I thought was cheap antbody that actualy had a job could afford and they was paid off in less than 2 years . My best friends mom on the other hand bought a brand new Mustang, before it would have been over she would have dang near gave more for it than she did her house , she had to end up turning it back in cause it kept giving her problems she of course picked out something else that cost to much that will one day have the same dang problems a used car will have so i think used car is the way to go, a nice used car has the same benifits as a new one .

I bought my vehicle there 5 years ago and it has been a good one. Most of his vehicles do have quite a few miles on them but they are used vehicles. My advice is have any used vehicle you buy, have it checked out before you buy it. I wanted a dependable SUV with out paying a fortune for it and that is what I got. I dealt with Dennis and he was very nice and gave me a good deal.

I have bought 2 cars and a truck from him and when I decide to buy something else, I will go there and give them my business. The first car I bought is still running and I gave it away, because it had high mileage on it. It had 360,000 miles on it and I already had purchased another car from that place, so I didn't need the old one anymore. The car I have now is paid for and still valued at nearly $ 5,000.00. It came from there also. That man is honest and he will tell you where the vehicle came from or where he got it. He will also offer to fix a problem if you test drive and want to buy, but think something might be wrong. His vehicles are the cleanest and nicest I have seen any where around. I know several people who have bought more than one vehicle from that place and have been very satisfied customers. They have been happy enough to go back and buy again, and if you look around town, you will notice a lot of vehicles have been purchased from Staton's Auto. If you like something on the lot, he will work with you or if there is something special you are searching for, he will try and find it for you. Most of the cars and trucks he sells, all have leather front end covers, or special accessories that he has added on them himself. He's an honest man in my eyes and in the eyes of many others. If you are going to buy a used vehicle, he will be the best place to get it from. Everything under $ 5,000.00 can be financed on his lot and if the price is above that, you will have to finance it through a bank, unless his rules have changed. Good luck

Dennis has always done us right... we have probably bought ten cars from him in the past ten years... he'll work with you if you ever have problems... and if we've ever had problems with a car after we bought it he would help us to fix it... he is a good person... I would buy from him again...

see geez lol. ten cars in ten years. they all must have been pieces of crap. one good used car should last you ten years. just like the guy said in an earlier post. just go to a real dealership and get a good used car, then u just have to make one purchase and be done and it will last you years. you shouldnt have to get ten cars in ten years lol. but whatever. yall waste your money if you want.
