I do not care what you are doing, it is you who is going down if you get busted, not me. I do not even care about the continues flow of traffic, the comings and goings does not bother me.
What is of a concern to me, is the shady characters that come within close proximity of me, do to your trade. Being a woman, living alone, this is of a great concern for me.
Because you are my neighbor, I am exposed to a greater risk of a home invasion, or being the victim of a burglary, I try no to think of the many other possible scenarios.
Why if the situation were reversed, would you appreciate me?
Why if you were the one losing sleep because I was putting you in harms way?
I have lived in this same house for 13 years and grew up in this neighborhood, it use to be a safe place to live .

Practice your 2nd amendment right. Buy a firearm for home protection. If you aren't trained in shooting, Get trained. A 20 gauge youth shot gun is a bit easier for a female, a little less kick back, and much less need to aim. Just be 100% positive you are shooting an intruder!

I am afraid if I bought a gun, it would fall into the wrong hands.
And who would use that gun while I am at the super market, and my house is being burglerized by one of the neighbors regular visitor who possibly knows my living arrangements and daily habits?

Aren't you already living in fear of being burglarized? Its your choice, just saying that's your right and option to protect yourself and your property. No one should know a firearm is in your home to want to break in and steal it so if they do, they were gonna do it anyway.
Personally I'd rather be able to protect myself in the event than bank on them robbing me when I wasnt there or me not walking in on it. Just saying.

You contridicted yourself. You must live in an underground bunker.Do you get that when you venture out in that town the dealers are like cockroaches they're everywhere there. You people worry more about your neighbors than even the law allows. If your that scared you would be moving instead of posting.

Buy a huge dog like a German shepherd. I had problems with this not too long ago. And they were in my yard at night. I also was living alone at the time. A big dog is great. If trained right.
A camera is also good. I had some of those outside. Its great comfort to be able to see who is outside on your tv before you open the door. Also good for those salesmen. I wouldnt buy a gun..I just dont like them..and thats my right. But I have a baseball bat a tazor ..and if worse comes to worse a frying pan or a hammer.
And remember..they can only get you for assault when its below the waist. so knock out a knee cap or two..and run like no ones business ...outside..to your car or just away. You can always buy new things..you cant buy a new you. but seriously a big dog works great ..just walk it around the neighbor hood a few times so every one sees you have it. Many benefits. Companion ..protector..friend..even if it just barks it will let you know somethings up..or scare someone off.

You have every right not to own a gun and if you are afraid of am inanimate object like a firearm that you can be trained to properly use then by all means do not own one, you could end up being more of a danger to yourself. Cameras can record the burglary or your assault. At least the crime might get solved. A dog however...nah..unless you're paying out the but and buy a dog trained to attack, which is much more dangerous than ever owning a gun of any kind, then you basically have a furry (cute pal) who can be bought with s treat. Might make you feel better but...isn't gonna make you safer.
I'm not trying to be a smart @ss. My dad was an officer for years and my uncle is a retired detective from the Lexington force.

For the most part, as "out of it" as addicts seem to be, for the most part, they don't sh*t where they eat. Meaning, if an addict has a good place to pick up their fix, they aren't going to screw it up by bringing authoritative attention (i.e. breaking and entering) near their place of pick up. Why mess up a good thing?
Move if you don't like it. Turn her in if you don't like it. One thing you shouldn't do and expect something done.... yammer on Topix about it.
If you don't like it, change it, other wise. STFU.
Spoken like a true drug dealer!

It is not easy to just pack up and leave your home when you own it and have lived there for 13 years. And I am not afraid to shoot or own a gun, I am just afraid that it would be taken by a criminal and used in a crime.
I have thought about reporting the suspicious activity but who would I report it to?
Chances are, my neighbors are related to the police.

I agree with many of these statements. But still, no one should have to live in fear due to the stupidity of people who want to deal drugs instead of getting a real job.
