Suspect in Fatal Crash High On Pot
#1 Dec 29, 2011
man how horrible to lose your loved one this way. I feel for both families but lets be honest here pot had 0.0 to do with it.. this kid was driving like a maniac according to the story so if there isn't harder drugs or alcohol in his toxicology test this can be summed up as a idiot kid driving like a idiot kid.. sorry to both of the families

Umm, NO! This was an idiot kid, driving like an idiot kid-UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE. Get it??????
Stop the gentle pothead business. I've had family members who were assaulted by individuals under the influence of pot and now this accident. It's a proven fact that being behind the wheel of a vehicle, under the influence of pot, is exactly the same as if they were under the influence of alcohol.

Yeah, RIGHT! Cause when I was high on weed/pot/whatever years ago, I ALWAYS maintained control of myself! And I ALWAYS made the best choices/decisions.
0.0 to do with it??? You must be kidding! Or high, maybe?
ANY kind of drug or alcohol in ones system leads to poor decision making, and slower reaction times.
Here's a scenario for ya---being high on anything lessens your inhibitions. Therefore the "driving like a maniac". Follow that up with delayed reaction times, and guess what you get? A FATAL CRASH!
Are you really that stupid?

if only they did studies on the effects of marijuana use on drivers.. oh thats right they did and marijuana users were safer than sober drivers lol.. once again if you read the story nowhere in there is there proof of the kid being high anyways and imho its pretty sad that police use this death as a propaganda platform especially before all the evidence (including toxicology reports) are in.. if you really agree with the officer in the story that says marijuana is more dangerous than alcohol you are beyond help.. once again so sorry to both families.. I will agree that driving under the influence of any substance is bad and I will agree that it is possible that his reaction times were slowed a bit by the use but in no way did marijuana make this kid drive like a idiot kid, that was probably all genetics

People shouldn't be driving under the influence of any substance! If the drinkers can't drive, neither should the pot heads! Period!

did you read the story deedee? apparently not because nowhere in the article does it state he was high on pot.. just that they found a pipe in his car but I do agree nobody should drive when on any substance including vicodin and xanax.. truth is this charge wont stick.. its almost impossible to be tagged for dui with marijuana unless you are caught driving with a joint in hand.. it takes 30 days to get out of your system and no court will convict somebody but they sure do get a lot of pleas out of trumping up charges.. Be careful out there this weekend folks

Well he is going to face some charges. After all he did KILL some one. We will have to see what he comes back, tested with. How does one know he maybe was TEXTING... that scares the fool out of me, when I see some one texting, and trying to drive. You see them weaving, then over compensating, jerking back the steering wheel .
