Metropolitan Water District will extend its Diamond Valley Lake launch ramp to its designed length, allowing it to reopen in February after closing last October due to low water.

Randy Record claims that finishing the boat ramps is, "The right thing to do," after years of broken promises. The right thing to do Randy is to live up to the promises MWD made to the citizens of Hemet. Finish the equestrian trails, camp grounds, boat docks, ski lakes and all the other projects MWD promised us! Don't just finish the ones that financially benefit MWD! That's the right think to do! Until then, you're just another crook in my book!

Skeptic is correct. MWD is a big joke. All other agencies are cutting and instead they want us to ration and then they raise rates. Why not lay off some fat cats at MWD instead. I say we all meet at the lake Saturday and go swimming. What are they gonna do no one is patrolling it right now anyway?
