It's nice to see that there are those who still appreciate Adventure and Open Roads. I hope that some of the Sites on old rte 66 will always remain, and more Americans will appreciate and support the Route.
It's great that Europeans come here and spend time & money on the Route.
I and my family have made trips along portions of the Hwy but not all the way...yet.

I was with a group at the Odell (IL) Standard Oil Station and one of the (American Men) said that he was upset that these 'people from overseas' come here to see the route and we have so many people who actually 'live' on Route 66 and they really don't seem to care about it.
I had to agree with him - but it is good to see folks from all over the world coming here to travel the road.
