God BELIEVES in YOU~

#1 May 30, 2010
A soldiers example of courage is something WE ALL must duplicate.
THANK YOU ALL SOLDIERS for YOUR LOVE of us.

From YOUR petty countrymen.
~~~~~~~~~~
Thank YOU all families that make the sacrifice , being with out them for their enlistment.
The soldiers and their families should be validated as the BEST of the STRONG, Validated and celebrated for their GIFT to our country , in a time when people forget HOW WONDERFUL our LIBERTIES are.
The PURSUIT of happiness we are guaranteed is KEPT because our SOLDIERS and THEIR families LOVE of the USA~
.... through the ages many lives changed by loss for US.
Dear God,I pray as I hope others do~for the safety of our people.Amen
Amen. And I would add that we need to shun those who denigrate our military. If our military is willing to die for our freedoms , the least we can do as citizens i defend them from attack at home.
Clinton couldn't keep the crowd happy today and many just got up and left when he started in on Bush. Getting ugly out there, can't wait until this is over.
The great thing about Halloween's arrival just before the November elections is that we get to choose from all those freaky political costumes.
Gov. Jell-O and his opponent, state Sen. Meatloaf (R-Bloomington) are locked in a tight race for governor.
And in the campaign for the U.S. Senate seat held by Sen. "Tombstone" Burris, the Halloween thing gets even freakier: Reputed Mob Banker vs. Admitted Serial Embellisher.
Remember before you vote: Treat them now, and they trick you later.
If you've got a hot Halloween party on your schedule, just lie down in a vat of lime Jell-O wearing a rumpled blue suit. Presto! Your friends will ask, "What are you?" And you'll say, "I'm Gov. Quinn!"
Dressing up as Meatloaf is rather risky. Butchers across America have already warned Halloween revelers not to try replicating that hideous Lady Gaga meat dress that she wore to the MTV Video Music Awards.
Still, there's got to be a few people in Illinois brave enough to smear themselves with buckets of ground mystery meat and not be eaten alive by all those hungry little puppies who weren't euthanized by Republican state Sen. Bill Brady.
The rest are easy. Mob Banker? Fuggetaboutit. Embellisher? On your chest, pin some ribbons that you didn't earn.
Let's start with the Senate race. Illinois Treasurer Alexi Giannoulias, Democrat, and U.S. Rep. Mark Kirk, Republican, have spent months taking great bloody chunks out of each other.
Giannoulias is haunted by the fact that when he worked as a senior loan officer for his daddy at the now-defunct Broadway Bank,$27.7 million went to earthy felons who put some of that cash on the street for legalized juice loans.
One Outfit type is known as "Jaws" Giorango. Jaws' partner doesn't have a nickname, but Demitri Stavropoulos does have a felony record. He testified in a deposition that he makes more than $250,000 a year as a "consultant" for PoleKatz. It's been described as refined adult entertainment, but it's really a strip joint in Bridgeview, with "Pole Kitties" named Celeste, Yesenia, Jada and Larrisa.
Here's a real nightmare: The next senator may someday make recommendations to the president on who would succeed U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald.
So, whom would Giannoulias name to co-chair his blue-ribbon committee to find an honest prosecutor?
Jaws and Demitri? If so, then where would Celeste and Jada fit in?
Meanwhile, Kirk has his own troubles. He's currently wearing the costume of a tough conservative, though he's long been a liberal Republican who supported the controversial cap-and-trade legislation.
What's worse, he has a habit of embellishing his service record as an intelligence officer in the U.S. Navy.
Kirk finally came clean and was properly humiliated and embarrassed. If not for this, he'd be running away with the election. The Giannoulias campaign efficiently exploited the weakness.
But then last week, Giannoulias made a serious mistake. He accused Kirk of "economic treason" in a media gambit that backfired disastrously.
Giannoulias alleged this so-called treason because Kirk raised about $6,000 from about a dozen Americans living in China. Giannoulias argued that Kirk betrayed his country by then voting against a jobs protection bill.
"This is egregious," Giannoulias chirped. "It can be nothing other than an act of economic treason."
Nobody bought it, and political reporters pestered Alexi with questions about his own fundraising in Canada. They pointed out that the Kirk fundraiser was scheduled months before lawmakers set a date for the protectionist vote.
It all fell apart for Alexi. He sweated and stammered and looked like a kid who just got caught telling a whopper. As he spoke, a campaign sign fell off the wall with a thud.
"He stuck to his treason charge but stopped just short of accusing Kirk of being an agent of the Chinese," said NBC 5 reporter Phil Rogers.Congratulations, Phil! You win first place in the Sarcastic Line of the Week sweepstakes.
Whatever you say about Kirk, and I'm no big fan, he has worn a Navy uniform for 20 years. As Kirk served his country, Alexi served up passes to President Barack Obama in pickup basketball games.
By invoking treason, Giannoulias demonstrated a frightening lack of maturity. And maturity is required in a senator.
The race between state Sen. Meatloaf vs. Gov. Jell-O is also quite close, and very spooky, too.
I call Pat Quinn Gov. Jell-O because he quivers with fright every time Democratic boss and House Speaker Michael Madigan (D-Lisa's Daddy) walks into the room.
And state Sen. Bill Brady is Meatloaf because months ago, as I was taking candidates out for interviews, Brady said he wanted to go to Ditka's, a steakhouse of sorts
"I'll have the meatloaf," Brady told the server with a smile.
Not da pork chop. The meatloaf. Good grief!
Meatloaf turned out to be the perfect metaphor, since you don't quite know what's in it, just like Brady's economic plan.
But you know what's really scary?
No matter which of these giants is elected, Meatloaf or Jell-O, there's House Speaker Madigan, the pale Nosferatu in the shadows, bossing your governor around.
That truly would make a killer costume.
All you need to pull it off would be a blue blazer, a smirk, vampire fangs, a politically connected law practice reducing property taxes for the big shots, and absolute control of Illinois.
Boo!
My pleasure. Hopefully we can get the conservatives to just leave DHTR and then we can discuss politics and life without the Keystone cops attacking every breath we take.
How was the storm today SOH? The MSM won't report that about Clinton. I've been looking all over for it.
OMG, the Republican party is dropping charges on this guy who threatened to torch the headquaters today. The guy had a tumor and when it was removed he went crazy. Well I guess that is the Christian thing to do.
